Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer (Field-Tested)

Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer (Field-Tested)

The Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec finish built around a translucent purple polymer look on the frame. Field-Tested is the most common way to run it, with a bit of honest wear that barely dulls the shine.

Design

Community designer Strenson is behind this finish, which makes the Five-SeveN's frame look molded from transparent purple polymer. The flavor text, "wrapped in a purple candy shell," nails the glossy, semi-see-through vibe of the paint job.

Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested sits in the middle of the finish's 0.00–1.00 float range. Some light surface texture shows up on the frame here, but the transparent purple effect still comes through clearly enough that most players won't notice a difference at a glance.

Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer Rarity

The Dark Polymer sits at Mil-Spec Grade, CS2's blue and most common weapon-finish tier. It's about as easy a drop as pistol finishes get.

Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer Case and Collection

The Dead Hand Collection is home to this finish, introduced through the March 2026 Dead Hand update. Pulling it from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal happens often — Mil-Spec Grade drops at about 79.92% of the time from that container, the highest rate of any tier.

Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer Patterns

No random pattern variation applies to the Dark Polymer; it's a fixed finish, meaning the purple polymer effect is identical on every copy regardless of seed. Float and wear are what actually separate one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak™ counter available on this finish, and no Souvenir edition either — just the regular version. Since Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and the Dead Hand Collection was never a Major drop, that absence makes sense.

Five-SeveN | Dark Polymer Price

Field-Tested lands in the middle of the price range for this budget finish, cheaper than the top two grades while keeping the design fully legible. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Field-Tested the best value grade for this finish?

For most buyers, yes. It costs less than Minimal Wear and Factory New while still showing the purple polymer effect clearly, since the wear at this level is light enough not to disrupt the look much.

Does this finish come from a case?

It drops from the Sealed Dead Hand Terminal rather than a traditional weapon case, as part of The Dead Hand Collection released in March 2026. Mil-Spec items like this one come out of that container at a high rate.

Can I get a StatTrak Dark Polymer?

No — this finish only exists in its regular form, with no StatTrak™ counter available and no Souvenir version either, since Souvenir items require a Major-tournament package that the Dead Hand Collection has never been part of.
