G3SG1 | Demeter (Field-Tested)
The G3SG1 | Demeter (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle skin covered in a mosaic hydrographic of small tessellated tiles. Field-Tested brings a layer of honest wear while keeping the tiled pattern perfectly readable.
Design
The concept is decorative and pattern-led: a mosaic hydrographic lays dozens of small tiles across the body rather than a single color, giving the rifle a textured, tessellated surface. The finish is Valve's own, and it comes with an in-game line — "Patience is a virtue."
G3SG1 | Demeter (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Across the 0.06 to 0.80 float range, Field-Tested lands in the middle. Light scratching shows along the edges and on the magazine, with a little metal starting to break through the tiles. Even so, the busy mosaic hides the wear well, so the pattern stays clearly legible and the finish looks the part.
G3SG1 | Demeter Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, sitting a level above Consumer and Industrial in the standard weapon grades. It's a common grade to pull, but it ranks a notch clear of the entry-level whites.
G3SG1 | Demeter Case and Collection
This finish is a member of The Bravo Collection and is unboxed from the Operation Bravo Case, which debuted with Operation Bravo in September 2013. The Mil-Spec tier accounts for the bulk of case pulls at about 79.92% (shared across the tier), and because the case is no longer in the active drop pool, supply is fixed and the market is the main source.
G3SG1 | Demeter Patterns
Because the artwork is fixed, the paint-seed index changes nothing — the mosaic tiles land identically on every unit, and there's no seed or "blue gem" variant to seek out. The only things separating examples are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ G3SG1 | Demeter is available and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, more expensive pull from the Operation Bravo Case, and its counter is permanent, never getting wiped when the item changes hands. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons are produced only for Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never part of one.
G3SG1 | Demeter Price
Field-Tested is the value sweet spot of the range, cheaper than the higher grades while still showing the mosaic clearly. It sits toward the pricier end of the G3SG1 bracket yet remains a budget rifle overall. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Demeter look worn?
Only mildly. You'll notice edge scratches and a touch of exposed metal, but the busy mosaic pattern does a good job of masking the damage. The tessellated tiles stay easy to read, so the skin looks intentional and tidy rather than beaten up at this grade.
Is Field-Tested the best value Demeter?
For most buyers, yes. It undercuts Factory New and Minimal Wear while keeping the mosaic fully legible, and it's the grade you'll find most often on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go cheaper still if you want the lowest possible entry price.
Is the StatTrak Demeter worth chasing?
Only if you enjoy tracking your kills. The StatTrak edition is rarer and pricier than the standard finish, with a counter that logs confirmed kills and never gets wiped. It's the same mosaic look otherwise, so it comes down to whether the counter is worth the premium to you.
