G3SG1 | Demeter (Well-Worn)
The G3SG1 | Demeter (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec Grade rifle skin decorated with a mosaic hydrographic, shown here in a rougher, weathered state. It's a cheaper way into the tiled finish for players who don't mind visible wear.
Design
At its core the finish is a mosaic hydrographic — small tessellated tiles wrapping the rifle instead of a flat coat, for a distinctly patterned surface. Made by Valve, it carries a fitting in-game line: "Patience is a virtue."
G3SG1 | Demeter (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Within the 0.06 to 0.80 float band, Well-Worn sits near the top. The tiles thin out noticeably here, with bare metal showing across the magazine, receiver and edges. The mosaic is still identifiable, but this is plainly a worn grade — one aimed at players who put price ahead of surface condition.
G3SG1 | Demeter Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier — a level above the Consumer and Industrial grades in the standard weapon tiers. It's a common grade to unbox, though still a step clear of the entry-level whites.
G3SG1 | Demeter Case and Collection
Part of The Bravo Collection, this finish drops from the Operation Bravo Case that arrived with Operation Bravo back in September 2013. Mil-Spec is the case's most common tier at roughly 79.92% (the rate is shared across the tier), and with the case out of the active drop pool, supply stays fixed and buyers get most copies on the market.
G3SG1 | Demeter Patterns
The design carries no random pattern variation. The paint seed makes no difference, so the mosaic tiles are placed the same on each copy, with no seed number or "blue gem" edition to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ G3SG1 | Demeter does exist, bringing a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a rarer, costlier drop from the Operation Bravo Case, and that counter is permanent — it never gets wiped whenever the item is traded or sold. A Souvenir version was never made, since Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages and this finish appeared in none.
G3SG1 | Demeter Price
Well-Worn sits low on the Demeter ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget route to the mosaic for players skipping the mid-grade premium. Even near the top of the G3SG1 range, it's a cheap rifle to run. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Demeter look?
Fairly worn. Expect visible paint loss and exposed metal on the magazine and around the edges — heavier than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's maximum battering. The busy mosaic keeps the finish recognizable, so it still reads clearly as the Demeter in-game despite the weathering.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if the lowest price is your priority. Field-Tested looks noticeably tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the mosaic design as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Does the wear spoil the mosaic pattern?
Not badly. The tiles thin and metal shows through, but the tessellated pattern stays dense enough to read at a glance. Because the mosaic is so busy, heavy wear blends in more than it would on a flat-color skin, which helps the Demeter hold its look at this budget grade.
