Glock-18 | Groundwater (Battle-Scarred)

The Glock-18 | Groundwater (Battle-Scarred) is an Industrial Grade pistol in a solid olive drab, military-green scheme, in its most weathered state. It's the cheapest way to run the earthy green Glock.

Design

Even worn hard, the finish keeps its identity: Valve spray-painted the Glock's individual parts in solid colors as an olive drab scheme, a plain, graphic-free treatment that lives on muted military green. The design leans on flat block color, which is why the theme survives even a battered surface.

Glock-18 | Groundwater (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred is the most worn grade on the finish's 0.06–0.80 float scale, and it wears its damage openly — heavy scuffing and paint loss spread across the body, with the olive drab faded and stripped in patches. Notably, the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, so even its roughest copies stop short of the extreme end of the wear scale and the green stays readable.

Glock-18 | Groundwater Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier, positioned low on the standard weapon ladder above Consumer and below Mil-Spec. It's among the most common grades, which keeps this the most affordable way into the finish.

Glock-18 | Groundwater Case and Collection

Groundwater sits in The Mirage Collection, which came with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update in November 2013. Because no weapon case carries the collection, its skins spread through Mirage souvenir packages — meaning the market and those tournament drops are the source, not case unboxing.

Glock-18 | Groundwater Patterns

The finish has no random pattern variation. Its solid spray-painted color blocks appear the same on every copy, so nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" exists to hunt for — wear and float are all that distinguish one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You won't find a StatTrak Groundwater. StatTrak comes attached to skins drawn from weapon cases, and this finish was handed out through The Mirage Collection's souvenir packages instead of a case, so the counter was never part of the release. A Souvenir version is available, though — those originate exclusively from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and Groundwater's earliest was the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package.

Glock-18 | Groundwater Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the olive drab Glock for players who care more about the look than the surface. If you want the green as inexpensively as possible, this is the way in, and it still carries a premium name in the Glock-18 range. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Groundwater still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and faded patches, the olive drab color scheme keeps the skin identifiable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting obvious wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the military-green look altogether.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Groundwater look completely destroyed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear on the scale. The muted olive base also masks damage reasonably well, so it stays more legible here than many lighter-colored skins would at the same grade.

Which gloves go with Groundwater?

Its olive drab, military-green palette suits an earthy, tactical loadout, so olive, khaki, or forest-green gloves are the natural match — muted green Hand Wraps round it off. Tan or brown wraps also work for a field-kit contrast against the green.
