Glock-18 | Groundwater (Well-Worn)
The Glock-18 | Groundwater (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade pistol in an olive drab, military-green scheme, here showing heavier age. It's a budget route into the earthy green Glock, with wear that starts to bite into the finish.
Design
Underneath the wear, the design is the same understated Valve work: the pistol's individual parts are spray-painted in solid colors as an olive drab scheme, a graphic-free, tone-led look. The muted military green is what defines it, built on flat block color rather than any decal or pattern.
Glock-18 | Groundwater (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Within the 0.06–0.80 float range, Well-Worn is the second-most-worn grade. At this point the olive drab shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the slide, frame, and edges, and the green looks noticeably faded in places. The color still identifies the skin, but there's no hiding that this is an aged grade — the trade-off for a lower price.
Glock-18 | Groundwater Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade, the light-blue tier near the foot of the standard weapon grades — just above Consumer and under Mil-Spec. As one of the lower, more common tiers, it stays easy on the wallet.
Glock-18 | Groundwater Case and Collection
Part of The Mirage Collection, Groundwater launched with the "Out with the old, in with the new" update back in November 2013. The collection has no weapon case behind it; its finishes are distributed through Mirage souvenir packages, so buyers pick copies up on the market or from those tournament drops rather than by unboxing.
Glock-18 | Groundwater Patterns
Groundwater has no random pattern to roll for. The solid spray-painted blocks of color are placed identically on each copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" chase here — copies differ only by how much wear and float they carry.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Groundwater doesn't exist. The counter is built into skins that come from weapon cases, and this one was released through The Mirage Collection's souvenir packages rather than a case, so it never received the tech. The Souvenir version, on the other hand, is real — Souvenir weapons are produced only in Major-tournament souvenir packages, and Groundwater's first was the DreamHack 2013 Souvenir Package.
Glock-18 | Groundwater Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way to add the finish to a loadout for players who won't pay the mid-grade premium. Even so it's a premium name in the Glock-18 catalog. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn Groundwater look?
Fairly rough. Expect visible scuffing and faded, thinned paint across the slide and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The olive drab keeps it identifiable, so it still reads as Groundwater on the server despite the aging.
Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?
Mostly if price is the priority. Field-Tested holds its color better for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers lean that way. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the green Glock as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred.
Which gloves go with Groundwater?
Its olive drab, military-green palette suits an earthy, tactical loadout, so olive, khaki, or forest-green gloves are the natural match — muted green Hand Wraps complete the theme. Tan or brown wraps also work for a field-kit contrast against the green.
