Glock-18 | Night (Field-Tested)

Glock-18 | Night (Field-Tested)

The Glock-18 | Night (Field-Tested) is an Industrial Grade pistol skin with a sleek black body and parts finished in solid night-ops colors. Field-Tested is the most common, easy-to-find way to own it, adding a little honest wear at a lower price.

Design

At its core this is a stealth-first design: individual parts spray-painted solid colors over a sleek black base, in a night-ops scheme that skips graphics for pure tactical restraint. Valve created it, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "It's the whisper of the wind... it's the bite at your neck."

Glock-18 | Night (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Within the 0.06–0.80 float range, Field-Tested sits in the middle. Here the black finish picks up light scratching along the edges and high points, though the dark base keeps most of it from jumping out. This is the grade most players end up with — a fair trade of looks for a friendlier price.

Glock-18 | Night Rarity

Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue grade near the bottom of the standard weapon tiers, one rung above Consumer Grade. It's a common rarity, which keeps the skin cheap and widely traded.

Glock-18 | Night Case and Collection

Field-Tested Night comes from The Overpass Collection, which launched with Operation Breakout on June 30, 2014. Tied as it is to the Overpass map, the collection feeds copies into the market through Souvenir packages from Majors played on Overpass rather than through a regular case.

Glock-18 | Night Patterns

There's nothing random about the layout on Night: the solid painted color sections sit the same on each copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is on the table. What separates one copy from another is simply its wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak Night doesn't exist — that feature ships on weapons unboxed from cases, and Night is handed out through Souvenir packages instead, so no counter version was made. There is a Souvenir edition, first seen in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Overpass Souvenir Package, complete with tournament stickers and a gold nameplate.

Glock-18 | Night Price

Field-Tested is the everyday-value point of the range — cheaper than the higher grades while holding a look the dark base keeps presentable. On an already affordable mid-tier Glock, that makes it the most budget-friendly grade most people actually buy. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Night look beaten up?

Not really. It does show light scratching on the edges and high points, but the solid black base absorbs a lot of that visually, so it still reads as a tidy tactical Glock at normal viewing distance. Only up close does the honest wear of the grade become obvious.

Is Field-Tested the best value Night?

For value hunters, often yes. It's the most plentiful grade and one of the cheapest that still looks the part, since the dark finish hides much of the wear. If you want it visibly cleaner, Minimal Wear is a small step up; if you want it cheaper, Well-Worn drops the price further.

Why is Night so cheap?

It's an Industrial Grade skin, one of the lower rarities, and it's been circulating since 2014, so supply is broad. That common status keeps prices down across the board, making Field-Tested an easy pickup for anyone who likes the stealthy look without spending much.
