M4A1-S | Control Panel (Well-Worn)
The M4A1-S | Control Panel (Well-Worn) is a Classified rifle skin — a blue base of hand-painted dials and switches, here in a more battle-worn state. It's a cheaper route into the console design, with wear that's visible but leaves the theme recognizable.
Design
Underneath the wear the finish is a blue base loaded with hand-painted dials and switches, an industrial control-console theme that gives the M4A1-S a distinctly mechanical face. Valve built it around that control motif, and it carries a fitting in-game line: "Is this line secure?"
M4A1-S | Control Panel (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Float on this finish covers the full 0.00–1.00 scale, and Well-Worn sits well up it. At this level scuffing and paint loss spread across the panel and edges, dulling some of the finer switch text, though the blue base and larger dials keep the console read intact. For players who put price ahead of surface condition, this grade still carries the look.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier. It ranks directly below Covert as the second-highest of the standard weapon grades, and it's an uncommon grade to obtain.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Case and Collection
Part of The 2018 Nuke Collection, the Control Panel came in with the FACEIT 2018 update in September 2018. There's no case that opens it — the collection lives on Major souvenirs — and the Classified tier as a whole drops at around 3.2%, an odds figure shared across the tier's skins. That leaves the market as the main source for copies.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Patterns
Because the dials, switches, and blue base are placed identically on every Control Panel, the finish carries no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Copies differ only by wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak version of this skin. StatTrak weapons are produced only by weapon cases, and since the Control Panel was never part of one, no kill-counter edition exists. A Souvenir variant is a different story — it's handed out through the Major-tournament Nuke Souvenir Packages, first via the London 2018 Nuke Souvenir Package.
M4A1-S | Control Panel Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the price ladder, below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who'd rather not pay the mid-grade premium. It remains a premium finish overall, just at one of its lower entry points. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Control Panel look?
Noticeably. Expect scuffing and paint thinning across the panel and edges, with some of the smallest switch markings starting to fade — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The blue base and larger dials keep it reading as the Control Panel in-game.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mainly if price leads your decision. Field-Tested keeps the fine detail clearer for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the console design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Which gloves go with the Control Panel?
Its blue base and multicolor detailing suit a cool-toned loadout, so blue or gray gloves are the natural fit — a blue pair ties into the base, and neutral gray keeps the mechanical, control-board feel going.
