M4A1-S | Cyrex (Factory New)

M4A1-S | Cyrex (Factory New)

The M4A1-S | Cyrex (Factory New) is a Covert rifle skin with a high-tech design in black, white, and red. Factory New is the cleanest grade the finish comes in, showing the mechanical detailing at its sharpest.

Design

Cyrex wraps the silenced M4 in a custom, industrial look built from black, white, and red — a futuristic panel-and-circuitry motif that leans into mechanical styling rather than camo or graffiti. It's a community design by the artist Nextgenz, and it carries an in-game line of dialogue: "Sebastien is coming for me Valeria... we don't have much time - Chase Turner, Coalition Defector."

M4A1-S | Cyrex (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish rolls across a float range of 0.00–0.50, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of that band. At this level the red accents stay fully saturated, the white panels read bright, and the fine black linework has no visible scuffing at all. For anyone who wants the design as close to flawless as it gets, this is the grade to reach for.

M4A1-S | Cyrex Rarity

Rarity: Covert — the red tier, the top of the standard weapon grades. It's the rarest class of skin you can pull from a case, which makes any Covert a genuinely scarce drop.

M4A1-S | Cyrex Case and Collection

This skin belongs to The Breakout Collection and drops from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case, released with Operation Breakout in July 2014. As the Covert tier, it unboxes at roughly 0.64% from the case — the scarcest pull on the list — and with the Operation Breakout Case out of the active drop pool, supply is fixed, so most copies change hands on the market rather than from unboxing.

M4A1-S | Cyrex Patterns

Cyrex has no random pattern variation — the black, white, and red design lands identically on every copy, so there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to chase. Wear and float are the only things that set one from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ version exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops from the Operation Breakout Weapon Case as a rarer, pricier variant, and the counter is permanent, carrying over when the item is traded or sold. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons come only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never part of a Major drop.

M4A1-S | Cyrex Price

Factory New sits at the top of the Cyrex price ladder as the highest grade available — a clear step above Minimal Wear, a premium pick within the M4A1-S lineup that still stops short of true grail money. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Factory New worth the premium over Minimal Wear?

If you want the design at its absolute sharpest, yes. Factory New keeps the white panels brightest and the red at full saturation with zero visible wear. That said, Minimal Wear looks nearly identical for less, so the premium is mostly for collectors who want the top grade on the shelf.

Which gloves go with Cyrex?

Its black, white, and red palette suits a dark, high-contrast loadout, so black or red gloves work best — a red pair picks up the accent striping, while black wraps keep the industrial, futuristic vibe intact. It slots cleanly into a red-and-black themed setup.

Does Cyrex have a pattern to hunt for?

No. The finish applies the same on every copy, so there's no paint seed, blue gem, or rare alignment to search out. The only variables are float and wear grade, which means Factory New is simply the cleanest expression of the one fixed design.
