M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S (Battle-Scarred)
The M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S (Battle-Scarred) is a Restricted rifle skin with a green base and a dinosaur clawing through the side of the weapon, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
This finish keeps a green base and layers a dinosaur motif over a modern design, painting the claw-marks so the creature looks like it's tearing out through the frame. Designed by the community artist Sparkwire, it ships with a fitting in-game line: "Feeding frenzy."
M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred occupies the top of the finish's float range, which is capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0 — so even at its roughest this skin never reaches the most extreme wear a 1.0 finish would. Damage still shows openly, with heavy scratching and paint loss across the body and the green base worn thin in places, yet the dinosaur artwork survives as the anchor that keeps the skin readable.
M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. It sits in the middle of the standard weapon grades, above Mil-Spec and below Classified, making it a genuine step up from the common case pulls.
M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S Case and Collection
Belonging to The Revolution Collection, this finish is unboxed from the Revolution Case, released together in February 2023. As a group the Restricted tier drops about 15.98% of the time from the case (a rate shared among the tier's skins), so the odds of pulling this specific skin sit below that headline tier number.
M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S Patterns
Since the green base and clawing-dinosaur graphic appear the same way on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that set one copy apart from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ Emphorosaur-S from the Revolution Case, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir edition — Souvenir weapons are handed out only through Major-tournament packages, and this skin was never part of one.
M4A1-S | Emphorosaur-S Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run this design for players who care more about the look than the condition. Within a finish that's already easy on the wallet for the M4A1-S, this is the most affordable copy you'll find. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Emphorosaur-S still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the green base and the dinosaur claw artwork keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look — the signature dinosaur detail still comes through clearly.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Emphorosaur-S look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear the scale allows. Paired with a busy green artwork that breaks up the damage, the skin stays more legible here than many lighter, plainer finishes would.
Which gloves match the Emphorosaur-S?
The green base calls for an earthy loadout, so green or olive gloves lock the look together, while tan or brown wraps lean into the natural, primal dinosaur theme. Keeping the palette warm and grounded makes the whole kit read as one cohesive, wild setup.
