M4A4 | Asiimov (Battle-Scarred)

The M4A4 | Asiimov is a Covert rifle skin in the game's famous white, orange, and black sci-fi styling, shown here in its most heavily worn grade. It's the lowest-cost way into a legendary M4 look, trading surface condition for the cheapest entry point.

Design

This is a striking, futuristic finish — orange accents and black paneling breaking up a white body, giving it the feel of sci-fi hardware rather than a real firearm. The community artist Coridium created it, and its in-game line suits the theme: "Anyone can predict the future... a visionary shapes it."

M4A4 | Asiimov (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage without apology — heavy scratching, dark grime, and paint loss spread across the pale shell, and the white base makes every mark show. This is the roughest the design gets, with float running toward the top of the scale. The orange and black detailing survives as the anchor that holds it together, so even at its most beaten the skin still reads unmistakably as Asiimov.

M4A4 | Asiimov Rarity

Rarity: Covert, the red tier that tops the standard weapon-skin grades and outranks Classified. Covert pulls are among the rarest a case can give up, and that scarcity underpins a good deal of Asiimov's reputation.

M4A4 | Asiimov Case and Collection

Part of The Winter Offensive Collection, Asiimov drops from the Winter Offensive Weapon Case that arrived with the Winter Offensive update in December 2013. Covert is the case's rarest tier, which puts the odds of unboxing this skin specifically well under one percent per opening; with the Winter Offensive Case long gone from the active drop pool, supply is fixed, and most copies trade on the market rather than coming fresh from a case.

The Asiimov carries no random pattern variation; the white, orange, and black graphic is placed the same way on every unit, leaving no paint seed or blue gem to hunt. Wear and float are all that distinguish one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ M4A4 | Asiimov is available and tracks confirmed kills; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop than the plain version, and the counter stays permanent, carrying over whenever the item changes hands through a trade or sale.
