M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo (Battle-Scarred)
The M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo (Battle-Scarred, BS) is an Industrial Grade rifle skin with a torn, shredded blue tiger-camo hydrographic in navy and steel-gray, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way onto the finish, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
The look is all storm-worn naval camo: navy-blue and steel-gray tiger stripes shredded into jagged, windblown segments across the body. Valve created it, favoring a bold, ragged camouflage motif over fine detail, so the appeal is in the torn contrast rather than elaborate artwork — and it ships with a fitting line: "Endangered no more."
M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scratching and paint loss spread across the body, and the navy base is worn thin in places. The shredded blue-and-gray striping survives as the anchor that keeps the skin readable. This finish is capped at a float of 0.60, so it never reaches the extreme end of the wear scale, and the naval pattern stays legible even at its roughest.
M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo Rarity
Naval Shred Camo is an Industrial Grade skin — the light-blue tier, just above Consumer and one step under Mil-Spec on the weapon-grade ladder. Its commonness as a rarity is a large part of why the skin costs so little at every exterior.
M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo Case and Collection
Naval Shred Camo sits in The Ascent Collection, a set with no weapon case tied to it. Skins like this are earned through standard in-game drops and by fusing lower-grade skins in trade-up contracts, so there's no case to open for it — most copies now change hands on the market.
M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo Patterns
Because the shredded striping sits the same way on every copy, this finish has no random paint-seed variation — nothing like a "blue gem" or special alignment to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's no StatTrak version to look for: StatTrak weapons are drawn from weapon cases, and this skin is an Ascent Collection drop with no case attached, so a kill-counter edition was never issued. A Souvenir variant doesn't exist either — those come strictly from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this collection has never been part of a Major drop.
M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the naval camo design for players who care more about the look than the condition. If you want the shredded blue-and-gray pattern for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred grade still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the navy base and shredded blue-and-gray striping keep the design readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the naval camo look entirely — the pattern still comes through at normal viewing distance.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Naval Shred Camo look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.60 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a dark navy base that hides damage, the skin stays more legible here than many brighter, higher-contrast finishes do at the same grade.
Which gloves go with the M4A4 | Naval Shred Camo?
Its navy-and-steel palette suits a cool, dark loadout, so blue, navy, or gray gloves work best — a deep blue pair echoes the base, while gray or gunmetal wraps pick up the steel segments. Neutral, cool-toned gloves keep the storm-worn naval vibe the finish is going for.
