M4A4 | Royal Paladin (Minimal Wear)

M4A4 | Royal Paladin (Minimal Wear)

The M4A4 | Royal Paladin (Minimal Wear) is a Covert rifle skin carrying an ornate gold-and-white heraldic knight design over a warm brown base. Minimal Wear keeps almost all of that medieval detailing intact while sitting a step below the top grade in price.

Design

The finish is pure medieval heraldry: gold-and-white knight motifs etched and painted in fine detail across a brown body, styled to project grandeur and a chivalrous, regal feel. Community artist Teo created it, and it carries a deliberately mysterious in-game line: "This phonecall never happened, do you understand?"

M4A4 | Royal Paladin (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear

At Minimal Wear the skin still reads as near-flawless from playing distance, with only the faintest edge wear if any and the gold heraldic linework staying legible. The brown base does a fair job masking small imperfections, so most copies look barely touched. It's the grade for buyers who want something very close to top condition without paying the full Factory New premium.

M4A4 | Royal Paladin Rarity

Rarity: Covert. That's the red tier — the highest grade among standard weapon skins, one rung up from Classified, and the least common type of finish to unbox from a case.

M4A4 | Royal Paladin Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Revolver Case Collection and comes out of the Revolver Case, released alongside CS:GO's Winter Update in December 2015. Across the case the Covert tier unboxes at about 0.64% (that figure is shared among the tier's skins), and since the Revolver Case has left the active drop pool, supply is capped — buyers pick up most copies on the market instead of unboxing them.

M4A4 | Royal Paladin Patterns

This finish carries no random pattern roll — the etched knight design lands the same way on every copy, which means there's no paint seed or "blue gem" worth tracking down. The only things that separate one copy from the next are its wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There is a StatTrak™ Royal Paladin, which brings a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent, staying with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir variant was ever made — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and the Revolver Case has never been a Major drop.

M4A4 | Royal Paladin Price

Minimal Wear lands just under Factory New on this finish's ladder — a slightly more affordable route to near-top condition that still keeps the design looking almost untouched. It's a premium M4A4 skin either way, but this grade shaves the cost while barely giving up any visual quality. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is Minimal Wear worth it over Factory New?

Often, yes. Minimal Wear costs less than Factory New but looks almost identical at any normal viewing distance, since the wear is so light and the gold detailing stays legible. Pay up for Factory New only if you want the absolute best condition on the shelf; otherwise this grade is the smarter value for the same regal look.

Does the Minimal Wear Royal Paladin show much wear?

Barely. At this grade any scratching is minimal and mostly confined to the edges, so the etched heraldic artwork and the brown base read as near-untouched. The finish's fine gold linework stays sharp enough that most people wouldn't spot the difference from the top grade without close inspection.

Is StatTrak available on this skin?

Yes. A StatTrak™ Royal Paladin exists and tracks your confirmed kills on a built-in counter. It's a scarcer and more expensive drop than the standard version, and the counter is permanent, following the weapon through every trade or sale, so it never loses the tally you've built up.
