The MAC-10 | Acid Hex (Battle-Scarred) is the roughest grade of this Industrial Grade hex finish, and also the cheapest. Even here the neon-green pattern stays readable against the worn black base.

Design

The finish is a green hydrographic hex grid over black, a Valve design built purely on geometry and contrast. The accompanying line, "Hex marks the spot," fits the graphic, almost circuit-diagram feel of the artwork.

The Acid Hex is capped at 0.58 float rather than running the full 0–1.0 scale, so Battle-Scarred here never reaches the extreme scuffing seen on uncapped skins. Even so, expect heavy fading on the black panels and softened hex lines — this is the finish's most worn state, just a milder version of it.
