MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Factory New)

MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Factory New)

The MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Factory New) is a Restricted submachine gun skin finished in shimmering gold from grip to barrel. Factory New is the top grade of its ladder, showing off the metallic finish at its brightest before the wear grades start dulling it down.

Design

Valve's take here is pure luxury: a gold finish that catches the light and highlights every little imperfection in the metal underneath, rather than hiding it. The in-game flavor line sums up the vibe nicely: "All that glitters..."

MAC-10 | Gold Brick (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish spans a 0–0.70 float, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of that range, giving you the gold at its glossiest with essentially no visible scuffing. Every reflective detail Valve baked into the metal reads clearly at this grade. It's the sharpest the Gold Brick ever looks.

MAC-10 | Gold Brick Rarity

Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier — a step up from Mil-Spec and genuinely harder to pull than most of the case's contents.

MAC-10 | Gold Brick Case and Collection

This finish comes from The Ancient Collection, which debuted with Operation Broken Fang in December 2020, and it isn't tied to any weapon case — you get it through collection drops or trade-up contracts rather than an unboxing. Restricted Grade makes up around 15.98% of that collection's drop pool.

MAC-10 | Gold Brick Patterns

The gold artwork is fixed — the paint-seed index doesn't change how it looks, so every copy shows the same shimmering coat. There's no pattern or "blue gem" seed worth hunting; wear and float are the only things that separate one Gold Brick from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's no StatTrak version of the Gold Brick. It does, however, exist as both a regular finish and a Souvenir finish — Souvenir copies first appeared in the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package, and later Major tournaments have handed out further souvenir packages of their own since. The regular version you're looking at here comes from the collection itself, not a Major.

MAC-10 | Gold Brick Price

Factory New tops the Gold Brick's price ladder as the priciest and cleanest grade available, putting it firmly in high-end, grail-tier territory for a MAC-10 skin. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Factory New Gold Brick worth the premium over Minimal Wear?

If you want the gold at its absolute brightest, yes — Factory New sits right at the bottom of the float range with essentially zero visible wear. Minimal Wear looks close behind it, so buyers chasing maximum shine per dollar sometimes prefer that grade instead.

Does the Gold Brick have a Souvenir version?

Yes. Alongside the regular finish, Souvenir copies have been given out in Major-tournament souvenir packages starting with Stockholm 2021, with more added at later Majors. The regular Factory New version reviewed here is not a Souvenir copy.

Which gloves go best with the Gold Brick?

A gold finish this bold pairs naturally with warm-toned leather, and a good MAC-10 Gold Brick glove combo leans into driver gloves or hand wraps in tan, brown, or gold accents to keep the whole loadout looking like a matching luxury set.
