Design

Valve built this finish around engraved brass sections worked into the weapon rather than a flat paint layer, giving it a rugged, ornamental look drawn from the city of Gwalior. Its in-game line, "It breaks two commandments at the same time," still holds regardless of condition.

MAC-10 | Graven (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At the top of the skin's 0.06–0.80 float scale, Battle-Scarred shows heavy scuffing and worn metal across the body, with the brass inlays looking their roughest. Because the float caps at 0.80 rather than a full 1.0, though, this grade never reaches the most extreme wear some other skins hit, and the engraving stays identifiable even here.
