Design

The design coats the MAG-7 in an anodized navy blue VariCamo pattern, a dark, cool camo touched with a faint sheen. Valve made it, and it's stamped with the light-hearted line "Why so blue?"

This shotgun is a 2021 Mirage Collection skin, brought in with Operation Riptide in September 2021. Its regular version is obtained via collection drops and trade-ups rather than a weapon case, the standard path for a map-collection finish.

How worn does Well-Worn look?

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Only if you want the absolute lowest price. Field-Tested looks a fair bit tidier for a small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you're after the cheapest copy of the navy camo and don't mind the extra scuffing.

Does wear change the VariCamo pattern?

No. The pattern is the same on every copy, and wear only layers scratches and paint loss over it. Float never alters the underlying design, so a Well-Worn copy shows the identical navy VariCamo as a Factory New one — just with more visible battle damage on top.
