The MP5-SD | Dirt Drop (Battle-Scarred) is the most worn version of this black-streaked, dark-based finish. It's the cheapest way to pick up the design, for players who care more about the look than a clean surface.
Design
Black streaks spray-painted over a dark base make up the whole of this Valve-designed finish, going for a grungy, utilitarian feel over anything ornamental. The flavor line "Dirt don't hurt… until it does" fits the beaten-up character of this grade especially well.
MP5-SD | Dirt Drop (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Float on this finish runs from 0.06 up to a capped 0.80 rather than the full 1.00, so Battle-Scarred here stops short of the most extreme wear a skin can reach. Even so, expect heavy scratching, chipped paint, and a dulled surface where the black streaks blend more into the dark base. The cap means it's rough, but not as trashed as an uncapped Battle-Scarred skin would be.
MP5-SD | Dirt Drop Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade, the white tier and the lowest, most common rarity classification in CS2. Even at this heavily worn grade, supply is never a concern.
MP5-SD | Dirt Drop Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The 2018 Inferno Collection, which launched in September 2018 with the FACEIT 2018 update. It has no case tied to it at all — copies, at every wear, come from the collection's drop pool rather than an unboxing container.

The black-streak artwork never changes from copy to copy, so there's no seed-based pattern and no "blue gem" variant to search for on the Dirt Drop. Wear grade is the only thing that separates one copy from another.

There's no StatTrak version of this finish. Both a regular and a Souvenir finish exist, though — Souvenir supply started with the London 2018 Inferno Souvenir Package, and later Major tournaments added their own Inferno souvenir packages on top of that.
