MP9 | Green Plaid (Well-Worn)

The MP9 | Green Plaid (Well-Worn) shows visibly more scuffing on its taupe and blue-green plaid pattern than the mid-tier grades. It's a cheap way into this Consumer Grade SMG skin for players who don't mind the extra wear.

Design

The finish is a plaid hydrographic in muted taupe and blue-green tones, a low-key, earthy look rather than anything eye-catching. It's a Valve-made finish that carries the flavor text "It's not a bagpipe, but it plays a song before every funeral."

MP9 | Green Plaid (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Well-Worn falls further along the Green Plaid's capped 0.00–0.58 float range than Field-Tested. Because the finish never reaches a full 1.00 float, even this grade stays milder than a Well-Worn copy of an uncapped skin, though clear scuffing and some paint thinning are visible here.

MP9 | Green Plaid Rarity

Green Plaid is Consumer Grade, the base white rarity tier that sits below every colored grade.

MP9 | Green Plaid Case and Collection

It's part of The Baggage Collection, which launched alongside Operation Breakout in July 2014, and it isn't tied to any weapon case — copies come from the collection itself.

MP9 | Green Plaid Patterns

Every copy carries the identical plaid pattern — there's no seed roll and no "blue gem" variant to look for on this finish. Wear and float are the only things that differ.

StatTrak & Souvenir

This finish exists only in its regular form, with no StatTrak or Souvenir version — Souvenir items only come from Major-tournament packages, and this collection was never part of one.

MP9 | Green Plaid Price

Well-Worn is one of the cheapest grades of Green Plaid, sitting below Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred. It's a budget pick within an already affordable skin. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does Well-Worn Green Plaid look?

You'll see clear scuffing and some paint thinning, more than Field-Tested but less than Battle-Scarred. Since the finish is capped below a full 1.00 float, it never reaches the most extreme wear a skin can show.

Why is the Green Plaid's float capped?

The finish simply can't roll a float above 0.58, so even its worst copies stay milder than a fully worn skin without that limit. That keeps the plaid pattern legible even at rougher grades.

Is Well-Worn the cheapest way to get this skin?

Almost — Battle-Scarred is slightly cheaper still. Well-Worn is a good middle ground if you want a lower price without going all the way to the roughest grade.
