Negev | Mjölnir (Battle-Scarred)
The Negev | Mjölnir (Battle-Scarred) is a Classified machine gun skin, its red rune-covered design shown in the most heavily worn condition available. It's the cheapest way into this grail-tier finish, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.
Design
The design is a striking red finish marked with Norse runes, its orange-tinged reds setting the mythological tone the whole Norse Collection shares. Valve built the finish, which carries the line "This is all Loki's fault…"
Negev | Mjölnir (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
This finish is float-capped at 0.60 rather than the full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme end of the wear scale. The damage is still heavy — broad scratching and paint loss across the body, with the red worn thin in places — but the cap keeps it milder than a Battle-Scarred skin that rolls all the way to 1.0, and the runes stay readable throughout.
Negev | Mjölnir Rarity
It's a Classified skin — the pink tier positioned just below Covert, high up the standard weapon ladder and uncommon to obtain.
Negev | Mjölnir Case and Collection
Mjölnir sits in The Norse Collection, which launched together with Operation Shattered Web in November 2019. Across that pool the Classified tier drops around 3.2% of the time (the rate is shared among the tier's skins), and with the operation retired from the game, supply is fixed — practically every copy today is bought on the market.
Negev | Mjölnir Patterns
There's no paint-seed lottery on this finish: the red base and rune positions are fixed on every copy, so no "blue gem" or rare pattern exists to seek. The only differences between copies come down to wear grade and float value.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak Mjölnir was ever produced, because StatTrak counters are minted only on skins pulled from weapon cases and this one belongs to a collection instead. The same goes for Souvenir: those versions come exclusively from Major-tournament packages, and The Norse Collection was never offered as a Major drop.
Negev | Mjölnir Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run this Norse design for players who care more about the look than the condition. Even at the bottom of the ladder it's still a grail-tier skin, so it holds value well. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Mjölnir still recognizable?
Yes. Despite the heavy wear, the red base and Norse runes keep the design clearly identifiable in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible scratching and paint loss in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look — this finish stays readable even at its roughest.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Mjölnir look completely destroyed?
Because the finish caps at a float of 0.60 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear a full-range skin can. That cap, plus a deep red base that hides some damage, keeps this grade more legible than many lighter, uncapped finishes at the same label.
Is Battle-Scarred the best-value Mjölnir?
It's the lowest entry price, which makes it the go-to if budget is the main concern. You get the full red-and-rune design for the least money, at the cost of visible wear. Buyers who want a cleaner surface but still a discount tend to look at Field-Tested or Well-Worn instead.
