Negev | Nuclear Waste (Well-Worn)
The Negev | Nuclear Waste (Well-Worn) is an Industrial Grade machine gun finish — its brown, hazard-symbol design shown in the most worn grade available. It's the cheapest route into a Cache Collection classic, with wear the gritty base wears comfortably.
Design
Nuclear Waste covers the machine gun in brown and prints a hydrographic pattern of nuclear-hazard symbols over it, all in service of a rugged, post-apocalyptic feel. Valve designed the finish, and it leans entirely on that hazard motif for its identity.
Negev | Nuclear Waste (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
This finish is float-capped at 0.40, so Well-Worn is the most worn grade it reaches — there's no Battle-Scarred version. Even here the wear stays milder than a full-range skin at its roughest: you'll see clear scuffing and paint thinning across the body, but the cap keeps the damage from ever hitting the extreme end, and the hazard print stays readable.
Negev | Nuclear Waste Rarity
Rarity sits at Industrial Grade — the light-blue tier low on the standard weapon ladder, which keeps this finish common and inexpensive to pick up.
Negev | Nuclear Waste Case and Collection
Part of The Cache Collection, this finish launched in July 2014 with the de_cache theme. It's an Industrial Grade drop, one of the more common tiers in the set, so supply stays high and prices stay accessible on the market.
Negev | Nuclear Waste Patterns
Because the brown base and hazard-symbol print are fixed on every copy, this finish has no random pattern variation — there's nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. The only differences between copies are wear grade and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You'll find this finish in both a regular and a Souvenir form, but not in StatTrak — StatTrak counters are minted only on skins pulled from weapon cases, and this one belongs to a collection. Souvenir copies came from Cache souvenir packages given out at Majors, first the ESL One Cologne 2014 Cache Souvenir Package and later ones across several tournaments.
Negev | Nuclear Waste Price
Well-Worn sits at the bottom of this finish's ladder as its most worn grade — the cheapest way to own the design for players who care more about the theme than a pristine surface. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Nuclear Waste look?
Noticeably, but not destroyed. Expect visible scuffing and paint thinning across the body, more than Field-Tested — yet because the finish caps at 0.40, it never reaches the battered extremes of a full-range skin. The brown base and hazard symbols keep it recognizable, so it still reads clearly in-game.
Why is there no Battle-Scarred Nuclear Waste?
The finish is float-limited to a maximum of 0.40, and Battle-Scarred requires a float above that threshold. Since no copy can roll high enough, the wear ladder simply stops at Well-Worn. The upside is that even the most worn version stays milder and more legible than many uncapped skins.
Is Well-Worn the best-value Nuclear Waste?
It's the lowest-priced grade, so it's the go-to if budget is your main concern — you get the full brown-and-hazard design for the least money. Buyers who want a cleaner surface for a small step up tend to choose Field-Tested instead, but Well-Worn wins purely on price.
