Negev | Palm (Field-Tested)
The Negev | Palm (Field-Tested) is an Industrial Grade machine gun skin with a gray body and spray-stenciled palm, mesh, and cardboard motifs. Field-Tested is the most common way to own it — a bit of honest wear on a design that already reads weathered.
Design
At heart this is a gray finish built from layered stencils — palm leaves, mesh, and cardboard cutouts sprayed over the Negev. Described in-game as a memento from Gwalior, it carries the reflective line "Beautiful today...ashes tomorrow."
Negev | Palm (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
The float range runs 0.06 to 0.80, and Field-Tested falls in the middle. Here you'll see light scratching along the edges and raised areas, but the muted gray base and busy stencil work absorb it naturally, so the finish still reads intact. It's the grade most owners picture for this skin — a balance of price and appearance.
Negev | Palm Rarity
Industrial Grade is the rarity — the light-blue tier near the base of the standard weapon grades, keeping this a common finish.
Negev | Palm Case and Collection
This finish is drawn from The Alpha Collection, which arrived with Operation Bravo in September 2013. Given the collection's age and its removal from active drops, supply is fixed and the market is where practically all copies are found today.
Negev | Palm Patterns
Palm has no random pattern variation: the gray base and stencil layout are placed the same way on every copy, so there's no seed or "blue gem" to seek out. Wear and float alone tell copies apart.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Palm was never made — that counter appears only on case-unboxed skins, and this finish comes from a collection. There's no Souvenir edition either, because Souvenir weapons are minted only at Major tournaments via souvenir packages, and The Alpha Collection was never featured in one.
Negev | Palm Price
Field-Tested lands in the middle of this finish's ladder — cheaper than the near-mint grades while keeping the stencil design fully legible. For a grail-tier skin it's the most approachable way in without heavy wear. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Palm look worn?
Only lightly. There's some edge wear on close inspection, but the gray base and layered stencils hide it well, and the whole design already has a weathered, hand-sprayed feel that suits a touch of grime. At normal viewing distance a Field-Tested copy reads as intact.
Is Field-Tested the best value Palm?
For many buyers, yes. It's cheaper than the near-mint grades yet keeps the gray-and-stencil design looking strong, and it's more plentiful than the scarce clean copies. If you want a genuine Palm without paying the Factory New or Minimal Wear premium, Field-Tested is usually the sweet spot.
Is Palm a good pick on the Negev?
As a cosmetic it's one of the more collectible Negev finishes thanks to its Alpha Collection heritage and distinctive stencil art. The Negev is a niche weapon competitively, so most owners run this skin for its subtle, storied look and collector value rather than any gameplay benefit.
