The Negev | Terrain (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec machine gun finish in green terrain camouflage, here in its most worn available state. It's the cheapest grade of the finish, giving the camo look for the lowest entry on its ladder.

Design

At its core the finish is a hydrographic terrain camo — greens blended into a natural, map-like pattern that reads well across the Negev's bulk. It's a community design from Dirp, an artist with a knack for thematic finishes, and it carries a story line in-game: "For someone who is supposed to be impartial, your daughter made an interesting choice for companionship."

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.45, its scale stops well short of a full 1.0 skin, and Well-Worn is the most worn grade it reaches — there's no Battle-Scarred here at all. Even at the top of its 0.00–0.45 range the damage stays moderate: visible scuffing and paint loss, but the camo pattern remains clearly readable rather than battered beyond recognition.

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier that opens the paid weapon grades. It's the most common grade to unbox from the case, which keeps this finish both easy to obtain and affordable.

Negev | Terrain Case and Collection

Belonging to The Phoenix Collection, the finish drops from the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, released together with Operation Phoenix in February 2014. The Mil-Spec tier as a group unboxes around 79.92% of the time (the rate is shared across the tier), so copies remain plentiful on the market.

This is a fixed finish: the terrain camo lands the same on each copy, so there's no random paint seed and no blue-gem seed to seek. Wear grade and float value are all that separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak edition, minted from the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, which adds a confirmed-kill counter that never gets wiped through trades and sales. A Souvenir version doesn't exist, as those are produced solely from Major-tournament packages and this collection was never featured in one.

Why is there no Battle-Scarred Terrain?

The finish is float-capped at 0.45, and the game never rolls a copy past that. Battle-Scarred needs a float above 0.45, so it simply can't exist here — Well-Worn is the most worn grade the skin reaches, and even it stays milder than a full-scale skin's worst.

How rough does Well-Worn look?

Only moderately, thanks to the float cap. You'll see scuffing and some paint loss across the body, heavier than Field-Tested but nowhere near the maximum wear other skins reach. The green camo stays clearly legible, so the terrain pattern still comes through in-game.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Mainly if price leads your decision. Field-Tested looks a bit cleaner for a small step up in cost, so many buyers prefer it. Well-Worn is the call when you want the camo at the absolute lowest price the finish offers, which the float cap keeps surprisingly presentable.
