Nova | Dark Sigil (Well-Worn)
The Nova | Dark Sigil (Well-Worn, WW) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin painted with Norse longships and dragons, here in a more weathered state. It's an even cheaper route into the Viking design, with wear the dark base still partly disguises.
Design
Built around a Norse motif of longships and dragons over a brown-and-gray base, the finish keeps things dark and brooding, favoring saga-flavored detail over color. It's a community design by apel8 and carries a fitting in-game line: "It emerged from the fog of war."
Nova | Dark Sigil (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Within the 0.00–0.70 float range, Well-Worn sits near the top of the scale. Scratching and paint loss show plainly across the body and edges, thinning the artwork in spots, though the dark base keeps the longships and dragons readable. For players who care more about price than surface condition, this grade delivers the look for even less.
Nova | Dark Sigil Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue grade that starts the standard weapon tiers. It's a common rarity, so the finish stays cheap and easy to pick up at any grade.
Nova | Dark Sigil Case and Collection
The finish is drawn from The Kilowatt Collection and comes from the Kilowatt Case, released in February 2024. The Mil-Spec tier unboxes about eighty percent of the time from the case (a rate spread across the tier), making it a frequent result of opening one.
Nova | Dark Sigil Patterns
No paint seed comes into play on this Nova: the longship-and-dragon artwork is printed identically on each copy, so there's no rare seed alignment or blue-gem tier to track down. Differences between copies boil down entirely to wear grade and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak™ version does exist, pulled from the same Kilowatt Case; it's a rarer, more expensive drop, and its confirmed-kill counter is permanent — the tally never gets wiped when the item changes hands. A Souvenir edition was never made, since Souvenir weapons only originate from Major-tournament packages this collection wasn't part of.
Nova | Dark Sigil Price
Well-Worn sits toward the lower end of the ladder, under Field-Tested (FT) and above only Battle-Scarred (BS) — and on a Mil-Spec budget Nova that means it's about as cheap as skins get. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How rough does the Well-Worn grade look?
Fairly weathered. Expect obvious scratches and thinning paint across the body and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The longships and dragons stay recognizable, so the finish still reads as itself in-game despite the added wear.
Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?
Mainly if you want the rock-bottom price. Field-Tested looks a bit tidier for very little extra, so many buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the Norse design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.
Does wear hurt the longship detail?
It thins in the most exposed spots, but the artwork stays visible and the brooding Norse mood carries through. The finish isn't float-uniform, so no two Well-Worn copies scuff identically — checking the exact float before buying is worthwhile at this grade.
