The Nova | Interlock (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish with a yellow-and-blue optical-illusion pattern, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the eye-bending look, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.

Design

Interlock keeps the Nova disorienting: a hydrographic optical-illusion pattern of interlocking yellow and blue shapes that fake depth across the body. Valve made the finish, and it ships with an in-game line that leans into the trickery — "Did you get a good look?"

Nova | Interlock (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's 0.00–0.50 float range, where wear shows openly — heavy scuffing and paint loss cover the body, dulling the colors throughout. Because the finish is float-capped at 0.50 rather than the full 1.0, though, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme end of the scale, so the interlocking pattern stays legible even at its roughest.

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the entry rung of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common class to obtain, which keeps the finish affordable even with its bold design across the board.
