Nova | Plume (Factory New)

Nova | Plume (Factory New)

The Nova | Plume (Factory New) is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish with custom brown feathers layered over a wooden receiver and stock. Factory New is the cleanest grade it comes in, showing the feather artwork and wood grain at their most vivid.

Design

Plume dresses the Nova with hand-painted brown feathers spread across a warm wooden body, blending a natural, rustic base with an ornamental plumage motif. It's a community design by the artist blossomalex, and it carries a playful in-game line: "This oughta ruffle some feathers."

Nova | Plume (Factory New) Float and Wear

The finish spans float 0.00 to 0.80, and Factory New sits at the very bottom of that band. At this grade the brown feathers stay saturated, the wood grain reads clearly, and there's no scuffing to break up the design. For players who want the plumage look exactly as painted, Factory New is the grade to reach for.

Nova | Plume Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the light-blue tier that forms the entry rung of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common band, which keeps the finish easy to find and gentle on the budget.

Nova | Plume Case and Collection

This finish is part of The Shattered Web Collection and drops from the Shattered Web Case, released with Operation Shattered Web in November 2019. The Mil-Spec tier as a whole pulls at roughly 79.92% of the time from the case (a rate shared across the tier's skins), making it the most frequent class of drop.

Nova | Plume Patterns

The design is fixed. The brown feathers and wood grain land the same way on every copy, so there's no paint seed to roll and no rare "blue gem" variant to hunt. Only the wear grade and float value set one Plume apart from another.

StatTrak & Souvenir

A StatTrak™ Nova | Plume exists and adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier pull from the Shattered Web Case than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped, staying with the item through trades and sales. There's no Souvenir version, since Souvenir gear comes only from Major-tournament packages and this collection was never a Major drop.

Nova | Plume Price

Factory New sits at the top of this finish's ladder as the cleanest grade you can buy, a clear step above the worn conditions but still an affordable mid-tier pick within the Nova lineup. It's the grade for players who want the feather art flawless. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Factory New Plume worth it?

If you want the brown feathers saturated and the wood grain crisp, yes. Factory New shows the artwork with no wear at all. It costs more than the worn grades, but as an affordable mid-tier finish the step up is modest, so it's an easy pick for anyone treating the skin as a display piece.

Which gloves go with Plume?

Its warm brown-and-wood palette suits earthy gloves — brown, tan, or leather-look wraps echo the natural base and tie the loadout together. A pair with rustic or hide tones complements the feather motif nicely, while cool or neon colors would clash with the finish's woodland character.

Does the StatTrak Plume counter ever go back to zero?

No. The StatTrak counter is permanent — it never gets wiped, and it carries over whenever the item is traded or sold. It only climbs as you rack up confirmed kills with the weapon equipped, so the number you build stays with that specific copy for as long as it exists.
