Nova | Plume (Minimal Wear)
The Nova | Plume (Minimal Wear) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin with custom brown feathers over a wooden receiver and stock. Minimal Wear keeps the plumage artwork looking almost untouched while trimming the price against Factory New.
Design
The look here pairs a warm wooden body with hand-painted brown feathers spread across it, a rustic natural base topped by an ornamental plumage motif. Made as a community design by blossomalex, the finish comes with a cheeky flavor line: "This oughta ruffle some feathers."
Nova | Plume (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Across the finish's 0.00–0.80 float band, Minimal Wear sits just above the cleanest end. Any wear amounts to the faintest touches on the edges, and the feather pattern and wood grain absorb them easily, so the shotgun still reads close to mint. It's the value-minded way to own the design in near-flawless shape.
Nova | Plume Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the light-blue band at the base of the standard weapon tiers. Being the most common grade, it's widely stocked and keeps the finish affordable, which is a big part of its everyday appeal.
Nova | Plume Case and Collection
Plume belongs to The Shattered Web Collection and comes out of the Shattered Web Case, which launched alongside Operation Shattered Web in November 2019. Across the case the Mil-Spec tier drops at about 79.92% (the figure is shared among the tier's skins), so it's the class you'll unbox most often.
Nova | Plume Patterns
Every copy shares one locked layout — the brown feathers and wood grain print identically each time, with no random seed and no rare pattern to seek. The paint index is meaningless here, leaving only the wear grade and float to distinguish two examples.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There's a StatTrak™ Nova | Plume, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop from the Shattered Web Case, and that counter is permanent — it never gets wiped and follows the item through every trade or sale. No Souvenir edition exists, as Souvenir weapons are produced strictly by Major-tournament packages and this collection never appeared at a Major.
Nova | Plume Price
Minimal Wear lands a notch below Factory New while looking nearly identical, which makes it the smart-value grade of this affordable mid-tier Nova finish. You get almost the full Factory New presentation for less. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How different is Minimal Wear from Factory New?
Barely different to the eye. Minimal Wear adds only the lightest edge wear, and the busy feather-and-wood design swallows it, so most players won't spot a gap at arm's length. Factory New is the higher grade on paper, but Minimal Wear delivers nearly the same look for a lower price.
Is Plume a good budget shotgun skin?
It's an affordable mid-tier finish rather than a rock-bottom bargain, and the common Mil-Spec rarity keeps it reasonable. Minimal Wear in particular offers a near-mint plumage look without paying the full Factory New rate, making it a sensible middle ground for a natural, rustic Nova.
Does the paint seed matter on Plume?
No. The finish uses a fixed design, so the feathers and wood grain print the same on every copy regardless of paint seed. There's no lucky roll or rare alignment to chase — when comparing listings, buyers only need to weigh the wear grade and the float value.
