Nova | Quick Sand (Well-Worn)

Nova | Quick Sand (Well-Worn)

The Nova | Quick Sand (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec Grade shotgun skin with a tan-and-blue hydrographic body and a dark blue barrel, here in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper route into the desert-toned design, with wear the darker tones partly disguise.

Design

Quick Sand keeps things natural and tactical: a tan-and-blue hydrographic pattern on the stock and receiver over a dark blue barrel, no loud graphics involved. The finish is Valve-made and comes with an in-game aside — "'A welcome sight' would be putting it lightly" — nodding to its desert mood.

Nova | Quick Sand (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

The finish is float-capped at 0.50, and Well-Worn sits near the top of that range. Expect clear scuffing and thinning across the edges and high-contact areas, though the tan-and-blue pattern stays recognizable and the dark barrel absorbs some of the damage. For players who care more about price than surface condition, this grade delivers the look for less.

Nova | Quick Sand Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue tier at the foot of the standard weapon grades. It's the most common rung to pull, so even a well-loved copy stays budget-friendly.

Nova | Quick Sand Case and Collection

This Nova is drawn from The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, released alongside Operation Riptide in September 2021. Sitting at the bottom of the collection's rarity ladder, the Mil-Spec tier drops roughly 79.92% of the time (a rate the whole tier shares). With no case behind the collection, most copies come from collection drops and Souvenir packages rather than case openings.

Nova | Quick Sand Patterns

Every Quick Sand shares the same fixed layout — the tan-and-blue artwork lands identically no matter the paint seed, so there's no blue-gem or "best pattern" copy to seek out. What separates two copies is purely their wear grade and float reading.

StatTrak & Souvenir

No StatTrak edition of this Nova was ever produced; StatTrak is a case-only feature, and this finish comes from a collection without a case. The special edition that does exist is Souvenir — introduced in the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package and reissued through later Major souvenir packages, running parallel to the standard finish.

Nova | Quick Sand Price

Well-Worn sits low on the finish's ladder, under Field-Tested and above only Battle-Scarred — a budget way into the design for players who won't pay the higher grades. It's among the cheaper routes to a genuine Quick Sand. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How rough does Well-Worn Quick Sand look?

Fairly worn. Scuffing and paint thinning show across the edges and high-contact areas, more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavier battering. The tan-and-blue pattern and dark barrel keep the skin recognizable, so it still reads clearly as Quick Sand in the loadout.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Mostly if price is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks a bit tidier for a modest step up in cost, so many buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the desert design as cheaply as possible without dropping all the way to Battle-Scarred.

Can I get StatTrak on a Well-Worn Quick Sand?

No — a StatTrak version of this finish doesn't exist at any wear. StatTrak is minted only inside weapon cases, and Quick Sand comes from a caseless collection. If you want a special edition, look to the Souvenir version, first released in the Stockholm 2021 Dust II package.
