Nova | Toy Soldier (Well-Worn)

The Nova | Toy Soldier (Well-Worn) is a Restricted Nova finish in plastic-army-man green, shown in a genuinely weathered state. Well-Worn trades surface condition for a lower spot on the price ladder while keeping the nostalgic green look recognizable.

Design

The finish is built on nostalgia — a familiar shade of green coating the Nova to mimic a little plastic toy soldier, with no graphics anywhere to disrupt the monochrome. Community artist hexeth designed it, and it carries the tongue-in-cheek line "Pellets and soldiers delivered in bulk."

Nova | Toy Soldier (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

On the full 0.00–1.00 float range, Well-Worn sits high, and it shows: expect noticeable scuffing and paint thinning across the body and edges where the green coat wears through. The toy-plastic look stays identifiable, but there's no hiding that this grade has age on it — the trade for its lower price.

Nova | Toy Soldier Rarity

The finish is Restricted — the pink tier, one of the upper standard weapon grades and a step above the blue Mil-Spec level. It's an uncommon classification that carries collector interest regardless of how worn the copy is.

Nova | Toy Soldier Case and Collection

This is a Horizon Collection finish, the set having debuted with the "A New Horizon" update in August 2018. Its Restricted tier drops at about 15.98% from the Horizon Case, a rate shared across every skin in that tier — so a specific finish in a specific grade stays meaningfully scarcer than the shared figure implies.

Nova | Toy Soldier Patterns

Pattern hunting is a non-starter here. Because the finish is fixed, the paint seed changes nothing about the coat; the solid green is applied the same way on every copy, with no premium seed or blue gem in play. Wear grade is the lone variable between copies.

StatTrak & Souvenir

The finish exists as a regular version and a StatTrak version, the latter drawn from the Horizon Case with a permanent kill counter that stays with the item through trades. There's no Souvenir edition, though — Souvenir weapons are minted solely through Major-tournament packages, and this finish never appeared in one.

Nova | Toy Soldier Price

Well-Worn sits low on this finish's ladder, above only Battle-Scarred, making it one of the cheaper ways to own the army-green design. Even at that level the finish's premium standing in the Nova range keeps it from being pocket change. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Well-Worn version look?

Noticeably. Expect visible scuffing and paint thinning across the green coat and edges — more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The familiar army green keeps it recognizable as Toy Soldier, so the nostalgic theme still comes through despite the obvious age.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Chiefly if price drives the decision. Field-Tested keeps the coat tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn is the pick when you want the toy-plastic design as affordably as possible without dropping all the way to the roughest grade.

Does wear change the green color?

Not the hue itself — the army green stays the same shade at every grade. What changes is coverage: higher float means more of the coat scuffs and thins, exposing the surface beneath at the edges. At Well-Worn that thinning is clearly visible, but the overall green tone still comes through across the body.
