Nova | Wild Six (Field-Tested)
The Nova | Wild Six (Field-Tested) is a Restricted shotgun skin carrying a brown, post-apocalyptic paint job. Field-Tested is the mid-grade, mixing honest surface wear into a design that already leans grimy — for well under the higher grades.
Design
The finish leans on rugged brown tones and a custom post-apocalyptic paint job spread across the shell, giving the Nova a worn, wasteland character. Community designers DasDas, Des, and Mia created it, and it comes with the tagline "My gun, my rules."
Nova | Wild Six (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
On the 0.00–0.80 scale, Field-Tested lands in the middle, so the shell picks up visible scratching and light paint loss along the edges and high spots. The catch is that the finish already looks battered by design, so this wear blends in rather than standing out — a lot of players consider it the natural condition for a wasteland skin.
Nova | Wild Six Rarity
Rarity: Restricted. That is the purple tier, positioned above Mil-Spec and just beneath Classified — an uncommon grade to see come out of a case.
Nova | Wild Six Case and Collection
This shotgun is a member of The Clutch Collection and is unboxed from the Clutch Case, which arrived in February 2018. As a group the Restricted tier drops around 16% of the time (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so any single Restricted finish is a fairly rare pull, and buyers mostly source it on the market.
Nova | Wild Six Patterns
Because the post-apocalyptic artwork is fixed, there is no random pattern variation to speak of — every copy wears the design the same way, with no paint seed or "blue gem" worth chasing. Wear and float are all that set one copy apart from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak variant is out there, adding a confirmed-kill counter to the shell; it is a rarer and more expensive drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent — it never gets wiped through trades or sales. There is no Souvenir variant, because Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never part of one.
Nova | Wild Six Price
Field-Tested sits in the middle of the finish's ladder — cheaper than Minimal Wear but pricier than the heavily worn grades, and a strong value given how well the design carries the wear. It keeps the skin firmly in affordable mid-tier territory. Pick it up on Skin.Land with instant delivery.
FAQ
Does Field-Tested look bad on the Wild Six?
Not really. Because the artwork is already grimy and post-apocalyptic, the scratches and paint loss at Field-Tested read as part of the theme rather than damage. It is arguably the most fitting condition for a wasteland skin, and it costs a good deal less than the cleaner grades.
Is Field-Tested the best value grade?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear while still looking the part, and the busy design absorbs the extra wear well. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred are cheaper again if you want the lowest price and don't mind heavier scuffing across the shell.
Can I get a Souvenir Wild Six?
No. Souvenir weapons are minted only inside Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this finish was never handed out in one. The regular finish and a StatTrak edition are the only two versions that exist, so any listing you see will be one of those two.
