Nova | Wild Six (Battle-Scarred)
The Nova | Wild Six (Battle-Scarred, BS) is a Restricted shotgun skin in the most heavily worn state of its brown, post-apocalyptic finish. It is the cheapest way into the design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
The finish keeps to rugged brown tones with a custom post-apocalyptic paint job across the shell, an intentionally grimy, wasteland aesthetic. Designed by the community trio DasDas, Des, and Mia, it ships with a fitting tagline: "My gun, my rules."
Nova | Wild Six (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred occupies the top of the finish's 0.00–0.80 float range, so the shell shows heavy scratching and widespread paint loss. Because the finish is capped at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the very extreme end of the wear scale, and the post-apocalyptic theme actually absorbs the damage — the roughness reads as intended rather than as a flaw.
Nova | Wild Six Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier. It stands above the blue Mil-Spec grade and directly below Classified, which makes it a genuinely uncommon grade to unbox.
Nova | Wild Six Case and Collection
Belonging to The Clutch Collection, this Nova is unboxed from the Clutch Case that came out in February 2018. Roughly 16% of pulls from the case land on the Restricted tier (a figure shared across the tier's skins), so most copies reach players through the market rather than straight from the case.
Nova | Wild Six Patterns
Since the post-apocalyptic artwork sits the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are the only things separating one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also track down a StatTrak edition, which adds a confirmed-kill counter to the shotgun; it is rarer and pricier than the standard drop, and the counter is permanent — it follows the item through every trade or sale and never gets wiped. No Souvenir edition was ever produced, since Souvenir weapons come solely from Major-tournament packages and this finish was not part of one.
Nova | Wild Six Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the design for players who care about the look more than the condition. If you want the wasteland Nova for as little as possible, this is the way in, and it keeps the whole thing in budget territory. Buy it on Skin.Land with instant delivery.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Wild Six still worth owning?
For value hunters, absolutely. The brown, post-apocalyptic artwork is designed to look weathered, so the heavy wear at this grade blends in and the skin stays recognizable in-game. You get the full theme at the lowest price of any grade, which is exactly the appeal of Battle-Scarred here.
Why doesn't Battle-Scarred look completely destroyed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 instead of the full 1.0, its worst copies never reach the most extreme wear. Combined with a design that already leans grimy, the Wild Six stays legible at Battle-Scarred where a lighter, cleaner skin might look wrecked at the same grade.
Is there a cheaper Nova skin worth considering?
Battle-Scarred Wild Six is already among the more affordable ways to dress up the Nova, and it offers a distinctive theme most budget shotgun skins lack. If you want that post-apocalyptic look specifically, this grade is the cheapest path to it — other Nova finishes trade the wasteland vibe for different styles.
