How rough does the Well-Worn Walnut look?

Fairly rough. You'll see clear finish loss and scuffing across the wood grain and edges, more than Field-Tested but short of the heavy battering at Battle-Scarred. The warm brown tones keep the skin identifiable in-game, so it still plays as a Walnut even with visible age on it.

Is Well-Worn worth it over Field-Tested?

Mainly if budget is the deciding factor. Field-Tested looks a good deal tidier for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers land there. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the wood finish as cheaply as possible without going all the way down to Battle-Scarred.

Does wear change the wood color?

Not the tone itself — the warm brown walnut stays the same hue at every grade. What changes is coverage: higher float means more of the finish scuffs and thins, exposing the surface underneath at the edges. At Well-Worn that thinning is visible, but the overall wood tone still comes through.
