R8 Revolver | Grip (Battle-Scarred)
The R8 Revolver | Grip (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec Grade sidearm skin with a pressed-metal body and a patterned blue rubber grip, here in its roughest available condition. It's the cheapest way to add this finish to your loadout.
Design
The Grip's design keeps things simple: a gray, pressed-metal frame set against a blue rubber grip panel with a repeating pattern, courtesy of community artist Teo. It comes with the flavor text "Every enemy is a nail," a nod to the R8's punchy single-shot playstyle.
R8 Revolver | Grip (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
The Grip's float goes all the way from 0.00 to 1.00, and Battle-Scarred sits at the top of that range. Expect heavy scratching across the metal body and a rubber grip that's lost most of its texture definition, though the blue pattern still peeks through in places. This is the finish at its most weathered.
R8 Revolver | Grip Rarity
It's a Mil-Spec Grade skin, the most common rarity tier among standard weapon finishes — part of why it stays inexpensive even at this wear level.
R8 Revolver | Grip Case and Collection
This finish belongs to The Clutch Collection, sourced from the Clutch Case that launched in February 2018. Mil-Spec finishes dominate that case's drop odds, so Battle-Scarred copies of the Grip are easy to find on the market.
R8 Revolver | Grip Patterns
No pattern variation exists on the Grip — the blue rubber design sits the same way on every copy regardless of paint seed, so there's no rare version to hold out for. Wear is the only variable at play.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition of the Grip exists in addition to the regular finish, adding a permanent kill counter that carries through trades. Souvenir copies were never issued, since that variant comes strictly from Major-tournament packages and this skin has never been part of one.
R8 Revolver | Grip Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade on the Grip's price ladder, the entry point for anyone who wants the blue-and-gray look without paying for a cleaner surface. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Grip still recognizable in-game?
Yes. Even with heavy scuffing on the metal frame, the blue rubber pattern on the grip stays visible enough to identify the finish at typical viewing distances, so the design isn't lost entirely at this wear level.
Why choose Battle-Scarred over other grades?
Mainly for the price. It's the lowest-cost way to own the Grip, which already sits in the affordable mid-tier bracket for the weapon, making Battle-Scarred one of the cheapest sidearm skins available on Skin.Land.
Which gloves pair well with the Grip?
The blue rubber panel points toward a blue or gray loadout — blue-toned gloves pick up the grip's pattern, while gray or gunmetal wraps match the pressed-metal body for a more subdued combo.
