Sawed-Off | Devourer (Minimal Wear)
The Sawed-Off | Devourer (Minimal Wear) is a Classified shotgun skin hand-painted to look like a creature eating its words. Minimal Wear keeps the artwork looking almost untouched while trimming the price below Factory New.
Design
A gothic illustration of a word-devouring creature is hand-painted across the shell, a dark, character-driven look far removed from plain camo finishes. The artist SHPR [M] created it as a community submission, and it comes with a fitting flavor line: "It's rude to talk with food in your mouth."
Sawed-Off | Devourer (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
Across this finish, float spans 0.00 to 0.80, and Minimal Wear falls just above the Factory New band. At this grade only faint edge wear appears, and the painted detail stays crisp with its colors intact. To most eyes it's hard to tell apart from a Factory New copy, which makes it a smart value near the top of the range.
Sawed-Off | Devourer Rarity
Rarity: Classified, the pink tier that sits one step under Covert and second-highest among the standard weapon grades. It's an uncommon pull from any case and the top rarity available for the Sawed-Off.
Sawed-Off | Devourer Case and Collection
Part of The Horizon Collection, this finish comes out of the Horizon Case, which launched with the A New Horizon update in August 2018. Across the case the Classified tier pulls at roughly 3.2%, a rate shared among the tier's skins, so most copies are picked up on the market rather than unboxed.
Sawed-Off | Devourer Patterns
Because the painted artwork is fixed, the paint seed makes no difference — each copy shows the illustration identically, and there's no rare seed or blue gem to chase. The only real variables between copies are wear and float.
StatTrak & Souvenir
There is a StatTrak version of this shotgun, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it drops more rarely and costs more than the standard skin, and its counter is permanent — it never gets wiped and stays with the item through trades and sales. No Souvenir version exists, because Souvenir weapons are produced only in Major-tournament packages and the Horizon Collection has never been a Major drop.
Sawed-Off | Devourer Price
Minimal Wear sits one rung below Factory New on the price ladder while looking nearly identical, which makes it the value pick among the cleaner grades — though still a premium price for the model. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear a good value over Factory New?
For most buyers, yes. Minimal Wear costs less than Factory New but shows only faint edge wear, so the hand-painted creature still reads crisp. Unless you want the absolute top grade, it's the smarter buy at the cleaner end of the range.
Does Minimal Wear show visible wear?
Very little. Scuffing is confined to the edges and easy to overlook in-game, while the painting and its colors stay intact. Against a Factory New copy the difference is subtle, which is why this grade is such a practical way to own the finish near its peak look.
What collection is the Devourer from?
It's part of The Horizon Collection and drops from the Horizon Case, released with the A New Horizon update in August 2018. As a Classified from that case, it's the highest-rarity Sawed-Off finish, and copies are usually bought on the market rather than unboxed.
