The Sawed-Off | Zander (Well-Worn) is a Mil-Spec shotgun skin hand-painted to resemble a game fish, here in a more weathered state. It's a cheaper way into the fish-scale finish, with wear the busy pattern still partly disguises.

Design

At its heart this finish is a hand-painted game fish, wrapping the shotgun in a fish-scale pattern of cool, natural tones — a playful, nature-led look rather than a tactical camo. The community artists G-99Factory and Puchara built it, and it carries the angler's line "This one's a keeper."

Sawed-Off | Zander (Well-Worn) Float and Wear

Toward the upper end of the full 0.05–1.00 float range, Well-Worn shows clear scuffing and paint loss across the body where the scale pattern thins. The fish-skin design stays recognizable, but the weathering is obvious. For players who prize price over surface condition, it delivers the finish's look for less.

Sawed-Off | Zander Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade, the blue grade at the base of the standard weapon tiers. Being the most common band, it keeps even the more worn grades of this finish very affordable.

Sawed-Off | Zander Case and Collection

Part of The Spectrum Collection introduced in March 2017 with the "Take a trip to the Canals" update, this finish unboxes from the Spectrum Case. As a group the Mil-Spec tier pulls at roughly 79.92% (odds shared across the tier), making it the most frequent result when the case is opened.

Every copy shares the same scale layout — the paint seed doesn't rearrange the artwork, so there's no rare index or "blue gem" to track down. What separates one copy from another is purely its wear and float, nothing else.

StatTrak & Souvenir

There's a StatTrak edition of this finish as well, minted through the Spectrum Case, tacking on a confirmed-kill counter; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop than the plain version, and its counter is permanent, following the item through trades and sales without being wiped. No Souvenir variant was made, as those originate only from Major-tournament packages this finish never featured in.

How rough does the Well-Worn Zander look?

Fairly weathered. Expect visible scratches and paint thinning across the body, more than Field-Tested but short of Battle-Scarred's heavy battering. The fish-scale pattern keeps the design recognizable, so it still reads clearly as the Zander in-game, just with obvious signs of use.

Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?

Only if the lowest reasonable price matters most. Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner for a small step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Well-Worn makes sense when you want the fish-scale design as cheaply as possible without dropping to the heavily battered Battle-Scarred grade.

Can I get a StatTrak Well-Worn Zander?

Yes. A StatTrak version exists across the finish's grades, minted from the Spectrum Case, and adds a confirmed-kill counter that never gets wiped through trades or sales. At Well-Worn it's a less common find than the standard skin, but the combination does appear on the market from time to time.
