SCAR-20 | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred)

The SCAR-20 | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec autosniper skin with black spider-webbing over a red base, in its most weathered condition. It's the cheapest entry to the collector-favorite pattern, trading surface quality for the lowest price.

Design

Crimson Web keeps its dark theme intact: a spider-web hydrographic over a red base coat with a semi-gloss topcoat, black webbing draped across deep crimson on the SCAR-20. The finish is Valve-made, and it ships with an ominous in-game line: "Be careful where you walk, you never know where the web is spread."

SCAR-20 | Crimson Web (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

The finish is float-capped at 0.80 rather than a full 1.0, so even Battle-Scarred copies stop short of the most extreme wear — this grade stays milder than an uncapped skin would at the bottom. Heavy scuffing and paint loss do spread across the body and the red base darkens considerably, but the black webbing still traces through the crimson.

SCAR-20 | Crimson Web Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the base rung among the colored weapon grades. It's the most frequently unboxed tier, though the Crimson Web pattern gives it collector interest well beyond a typical Mil-Spec finish.

SCAR-20 | Crimson Web Case and Collection

Belonging to The Arms Deal 2 Collection, Crimson Web is unboxed from the CS:GO Weapon Case 2, which came out with "The Arms Deal 2" update in November 2013. The Mil-Spec tier drops around 79.92% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), and as one of the original cases its supply settled long ago.

SCAR-20 | Crimson Web Patterns

The web hydrographic lands uniquely on each copy, so Crimson Web has genuine pattern variation — webs differ in size, count and placement everywhere you look. A big web centered on a visible surface is the rare, prized roll; smaller, edge-bunched or partial webbing is the norm. Even on a heavily worn copy, a strong layout carries a premium.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak Crimson Web beside the standard finish; it tacks on a confirmed-kill counter, drops more rarely, and costs more, with a permanent count that never gets wiped through trades or sales. There's no Souvenir variant — those come only from Major-tournament packages, and The Arms Deal 2 Collection has never been a Major drop.

SCAR-20 | Crimson Web Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the finish, the entry-level way to run the web pattern for players who care about the look more than the condition — though a standout web can still lift a copy above its grade. It's the most affordable way in. Available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Crimson Web still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing and darkened base, the black webbing still traces across the crimson and reads as Crimson Web at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting obvious wear for the lowest price — the pattern's identity survives even at its roughest grade.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Crimson Web look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. The red base darkens and scuffs visibly, but the skin holds together better at the bottom of its ladder than a fully uncapped finish would at the same grade.

Does the web pattern still count at this grade?

It does. The web layout affects value at every wear, so a Battle-Scarred copy with a large, centered web can outprice a cleaner one with scattered webbing. If you're buying at the bottom of the ladder, the pattern is still worth checking — it's often the biggest single factor in a copy's price.
