SG 553 | Basket Halftone (Well-Worn)
The SG 553 | Basket Halftone (Well-Worn, WW) shows the Industrial Grade orange halftone weave with visible surface wear. It's a cheaper way to run the pattern for players who don't mind a rougher finish.
Design
An orange halftone pattern runs in crisscrossing rows across the rifle's receiver and handguard, giving it a woven look rather than a plain solid color. It's a Valve design, carrying the line "Cross your hatch and hope to die."
SG 553 | Basket Halftone (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn sits toward the top of the finish's 0.00–0.60 float range, and the orange grid starts showing clear scuffing and fading across the body at this grade. The pattern's basic shape still reads, just with more visible texture loss.
SG 553 | Basket Halftone Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — the entry-level tier of the standard weapon rarities, and the easiest grade to come across. That's a big part of why this finish stays cheap in every condition.
SG 553 | Basket Halftone Case and Collection
This skin belongs to The Radiant Collection, released alongside the Spring Forward update in March 2025. No weapon case backs the collection, so buying on the market is the standard route to owning it.
SG 553 | Basket Halftone Patterns
The design is fixed on every copy — no paint seed changes where the halftone grid sits, and there's no blue-gem variant to look for. Wear level and float are the only differences between individual skins.
StatTrak & Souvenir
No StatTrak counter and no Souvenir tag exist for this finish; it's regular-only. Souvenir editions require a Major-tournament package, and the Basket Halftone was never featured in one.
SG 553 | Basket Halftone Price
Well-Worn ranks near the bottom of the price ladder here, just above Battle-Scarred (BS), and shaves a little more off an already budget-priced finish. It's a fine pick if the lowest possible price matters more than a fresh-looking pattern. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does Well-Worn look on this skin?
Noticeably — expect visible fading and scuffing across the orange halftone grid, more than Field-Tested (FT) but less than Battle-Scarred. The overall pattern layout is still easy to make out despite the wear.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Only if shaving off a small amount of cost matters more than appearance, since Field-Tested looks noticeably fresher for a modest price difference. Most buyers who want the design intact tend to prefer Field-Tested instead.
Is this finish a Souvenir skin?
No — the Basket Halftone has never been offered in a Major-tournament souvenir package, so no Souvenir version exists in any wear, including Well-Worn.
