SG 553 | Bleached (Battle-Scarred)

SG 553 | Bleached (Battle-Scarred)

The SG 553 | Bleached (Battle-Scarred) puts the Consumer Grade animal-skull design on the rifle in its roughest state. It's the cheapest way to own this finish.

Design

Animal skulls are spray-painted across the SG 553 in a stark, weathered pattern that fits its desert-themed collection. Valve built the finish, which carries the flavor line "All that remains."

SG 553 | Bleached (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's 0.00–0.50 float range, where the skull artwork fades heavily and picks up substantial surface damage. Since float never passes 0.50, this grade stays milder than a Battle-Scarred copy of a skin that reaches the full 1.00 range.

SG 553 | Bleached Rarity

Rarity: Consumer Grade, the base and most common tier of the standard weapon rarities. It's the main reason this finish remains cheap at every wear.

SG 553 | Bleached Case and Collection

This finish is part of The 2021 Dust 2 Collection, added with Operation Riptide in September 2021. No case is tied to the collection, so the market is the typical way to buy one.

SG 553 | Bleached Patterns

The skull layout doesn't shift between copies — there's no paint seed or blue-gem version to look for here. Float alone decides how rough a given copy appears.

StatTrak & Souvenir

Bleached exists as a regular finish and a Souvenir finish, with no StatTrak version at any wear. The Souvenir tag first appeared in the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package, and later Major souvenir packages have carried it since.

SG 553 | Bleached Price

Battle-Scarred is the least expensive grade of this finish, sitting below Well-Worn, Field-Tested, Minimal Wear, and Factory New. It's about as cheap as this design gets. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Does Battle-Scarred still show the skull pattern clearly?

Mostly. The artwork fades and picks up heavy surface damage, but the general skull layout remains visible, and the float cap keeps it from reaching the harshest wear some skins can hit.

Why isn't Battle-Scarred fully destroyed-looking here?

Float on this finish is capped below the maximum 1.00, so even the roughest copies stop short of the most extreme wear a fully uncapped skin could reach at this grade.

Is the Battle-Scarred version eligible for the Souvenir tag?

Yes — Souvenir status applies independently of wear, so a Battle-Scarred copy pulled from a package like the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package still carries the Souvenir tag.
