SG 553 | Bulldozer (Battle-Scarred)
The SG 553 | Bulldozer (Battle-Scarred) puts the Restricted yellow production-line scheme on the rifle in its roughest state. It's the most affordable way to own this otherwise high-end finish.
Design
The finish breaks the SG 553 into color-blocked sections, each painted a solid yellow tone for an industrial, heavy-machinery feel. Valve built the design, which carries the line "This bone crusher is a devastator."
SG 553 | Bulldozer (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred sits at the top of the finish's 0.06–0.80 float range, showing heavy scuffing and faded yellow paneling across the body. Since float never reaches the full 1.00 maximum, this grade stays a touch milder than a Battle-Scarred copy of an uncapped skin.
SG 553 | Bulldozer Rarity
Rarity: Restricted, the purple tier sitting between Mil-Spec and Classified on the standard weapon ladder. Even at this worn grade, it's still an uncommon rarity to come across.
SG 553 | Bulldozer Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Chop Shop Collection, added with an August 2014 update. There's no case tied to the collection, so the market is the main way to find a copy.
SG 553 | Bulldozer Patterns
The yellow paneling doesn't shift between copies — there's no paint seed or blue-gem version to hunt for on this skin. Float alone decides how rough a given copy looks.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Bulldozer has no StatTrak version and no Souvenir version at any wear. Souvenir status only comes from Major-tournament packages, and this finish has never been included in one.
SG 553 | Bulldozer Price
Battle-Scarred is the least expensive grade of this finish, sitting well below the other four wears, though it can still command a premium relative to plainer SG 553 skins given the finish's overall high-end / grail-tier status. It's the entry point for buyers priced out of the cleaner grades. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does Battle-Scarred still look like Bulldozer?
Yes. The yellow color-block design is bold enough to stay readable even with heavy scuffing, and the float cap means it never hits the most extreme wear a fully uncapped skin could reach.
Why is even Battle-Scarred Bulldozer relatively pricey?
The finish's overall high-end / grail-tier demand carries across every wear — limited supply from having no dedicated case, plus long-running popularity, keeps even the roughest grade above typical budget-tier prices.
Is Battle-Scarred the cheapest way in?
Yes — it sits at the bottom of the Bulldozer price ladder, below Well-Worn, Field-Tested, Minimal Wear, and Factory New, making it the most accessible entry point into this finish.
