Design
Valve is behind this finish, applying green spray paint freehand through a mesh-fabric stencil to give the SG 553 a woven, textured look. There's no flavor text tied to it, so the stenciled pattern itself is the main draw.
SG 553 | Gator Mesh (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Float across this finish spans 0 up to 0.60, and Field-Tested sits in the middle of that range. Light scratching shows up along the edges and stock here, but the woven mesh pattern remains fully legible — this is the grade most buyers picture when they think of Gator Mesh.
