SG 553 | Pulse (Well-Worn)
The SG 553 | Pulse (Well-Worn) is a Restricted finish with a hydrographic of bold fuchsia fragments, shown here at a more weathered stage. It's a cheaper way to run the Pulse's vivid color scheme.
Design
Bold fuchsia fragments cover the body in a hydrographic pattern, a striking, high-energy look. It's a community design from Thurnip, paired with the line "Striking colors for a striking weapon."
SG 553 | Pulse (Well-Worn) Float and Wear
Well-Worn sits near the top of the Pulse's 0.10–0.60 float range, close to the finish's worst available condition. Noticeable scratching and paint loss appear across the body here, though the fuchsia fragments remain visible enough to identify the pattern. Since the float caps at 0.60 rather than the full 1.00, this grade stays a bit milder than an uncapped skin at the same level.
SG 553 | Pulse Rarity
This is a Restricted skin, the purple tier sitting between Mil-Spec and Classified — a genuinely uncommon grade regardless of wear.
SG 553 | Pulse Case and Collection
The Pulse comes from the Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, part of The Phoenix Collection released with Operation Phoenix in February 2014. Restricted-tier skins make up roughly 15.98% of that case's odds as a group, and since the case is inactive, the market is now the main source of copies.
SG 553 | Pulse Patterns
The hydrographic design is fixed across every copy — no paint seed changes the layout, so there's no blue-gem hunt to run here. Only wear and float separate one unit from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak Pulse exists from the same Operation Phoenix Weapon Case, with a permanent confirmed-kill counter that carries through trades and sales. No Souvenir version was made, since this finish has never appeared in a Major-tournament Souvenir package.
SG 553 | Pulse Price
Well-Worn sits near the bottom of the ladder, a more budget-conscious route into a finish that otherwise commands premium pricing on the SG 553 line. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
How worn does the Well-Worn Pulse look?
It shows clear scratching and paint loss, more than Field-Tested but a touch short of Battle-Scarred's roughest state, since the float never climbs past 0.60. The fuchsia fragments stay recognizable throughout.
Is Well-Worn worth buying over Field-Tested?
Mostly for buyers chasing the lowest price — Field-Tested looks noticeably cleaner for a modest cost difference, so it's the more popular pick unless saving money outweighs surface condition for you.
Does the Pulse have any random pattern variation?
No. The hydrographic design is fixed on every copy, so there's no paint-seed lottery or best-pattern search here — wear and float are the only things that change from one copy to the next.
