Tec-9 | Whiteout (Battle-Scarred)
The Tec-9 | Whiteout (Battle-Scarred) is the roughest grade of this Restricted, grail-tier pistol skin, its white coat carrying the heaviest visible damage. It's the cheapest way to own the design.
Design
The Whiteout is a single, sterile idea — the entire weapon spray-painted all white, with no camo or artwork mixed in. It's a Valve-made finish, and it comes with the line "It looks pure, but looks can be deceiving."
Tec-9 | Whiteout (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred sits at the very top of the Whiteout's float range, which runs all the way to a full 1.00 — one of the finishes where the worst copies really do reach the most extreme wear possible. Expect heavy scuffing and discoloration across the entire white coat.
Tec-9 | Whiteout Rarity
The Whiteout holds Restricted rarity, the purple tier — ranked above Mil-Spec, Industrial, and Consumer Grade, and just under Classified and Covert.
Tec-9 | Whiteout Case and Collection
This finish comes from The Train 2025 Collection, tied to the Spring Forward update in March 2025, and has no case of its own behind it — copies come through the Train map's collection drop pool, trading, or crafting.
Tec-9 | Whiteout Patterns
No pattern hunting applies to the Whiteout — its white coat is fixed and identical across every copy, leaving wear and float as the only real variables.
StatTrak & Souvenir
Neither a StatTrak version was ever produced for the Whiteout. Its Souvenir edition is the real special variant, first seen in the Austin 2025 Train Souvenir Package and picked up again in later Major souvenir packages.
Tec-9 | Whiteout Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the Whiteout, the most accessible entry point into an otherwise high-end, grail-tier finish. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Battle-Scarred a good way to afford the Whiteout?
Yes, it's the cheapest grade of an otherwise high-end, grail-tier finish, so it's the most realistic entry point for buyers who want the Whiteout without paying top prices for the cleanest copies.
How bad does the Battle-Scarred Whiteout look?
Rough — since there's no camo to mask it, expect heavy scuffing and visible discoloration spread across the whole white coat. The Whiteout's float can reach a full 1.00, so this grade shows some of the heaviest wear in the game.
Why does the Whiteout reach a full 1.00 float when some skins don't?
It simply isn't float-capped the way some finishes are — its range runs from 0.06 up to 1.00, so Battle-Scarred copies can hit the maximum wear the game allows, unlike finishes with a lower float ceiling.
