USP-S | Black Lotus (Battle-Scarred)

The USP-S | Black Lotus (Battle-Scarred) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a deep blue body and a black lotus flower on the slide, in its most heavily worn condition. It's the cheapest way into the design, trading surface polish for the lowest entry price.

Design

The finish keeps things simple: a black lotus flower painted across a rich blue body, an elegant look that swaps busy graphics for a single motif. Designed by community artists moonfighter and Ariata, it ships with a tongue-in-cheek in-game line: "Adds 3 kills during pistol round, then is discarded."

USP-S | Black Lotus (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear

At Battle-Scarred the finish wears its damage openly — heavy scuffing and paint loss spread across the slide and grip, and the blue thins out in places. The black lotus survives as the anchor that keeps the skin readable. This finish is float-capped at 0.90 rather than the full 1.0, so its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme end of the wear scale, and the design stays legible even at its roughest.

USP-S | Black Lotus Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier. It's the base rarity for case skins and the grade unboxed most often, which makes the finish a genuinely accessible pickup.

USP-S | Black Lotus Case and Collection

This skin sits in The Operation Riptide Collection and is unboxed from the Operation Riptide Case, released together with Operation Riptide in September 2021. The Mil-Spec tier drops around 79.92% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), so blue-grade finishes are the box's most frequent pulls by a wide margin.

USP-S | Black Lotus Patterns

Because the blue body and black lotus sit the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. The wear and float values are all that separate one copy from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also track down a StatTrak™ edition, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it's rarer and pricier than the standard drop from the Operation Riptide Case, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and this finish never appeared in one.

USP-S | Black Lotus Price

Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the entry-level way to run the design for players who care more about the look than the condition. On an affordable mid-tier USP-S, it's the absolute lowest cost of admission. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

Is the Battle-Scarred Black Lotus still recognizable?

Yes. Despite the heavy scuffing, the blue body and the black lotus flower keep the design clearly readable at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear in exchange for the lowest price, not losing the look entirely — the lotus stays the focal point.

Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred Black Lotus look completely trashed?

Because the finish is float-capped at 0.90 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never reach the most extreme wear. Paint loss and scratching are visible across the slide and grip, but the blue body keeps enough of its color that the design holds together better than many lighter skins do at this grade.

Which gloves go with the Black Lotus?

Its blue-and-black palette suits a cool-toned loadout, so blue or dark gloves work best — a blue pair echoes the body while black wraps pick up the lotus. Pair it with other blue-accented gear to tie the pistol-round setup together.
