USP-S | Flashback (Field-Tested)

The USP-S | Flashback (Field-Tested, FT) is a Restricted pistol skin sporting a vibrant, hand-painted green finish, here with a touch of honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable way to run the loud green look.

Design

At its core Flashback is a bold green coat on the silenced USP-S, a design built on color saturation rather than busy graphics. It's a community submission from Superior Weapons, hand painted "in an attempt to make a suggestion about the duality of man" as the in-game description says, and it comes with the flavor line "Sierra Hotel Hotel Hotel."

USP-S | Flashback (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

On the finish's 0.00–0.50 float scale, Field-Tested lands in the middle. Here the slide and edges pick up light scuffing and some paint thinning, but the green base stays bright enough that the skin still reads boldly at a glance. This is the grade most players actually run — the balance point between look and cost.

USP-S | Flashback Rarity

Rarity: Restricted — the purple tier, ranked above Mil-Spec and just under Classified. It's a mid-tier grade that's a notch rarer than the common blue drops.

USP-S | Flashback Case and Collection

The Flashback sits in The Danger Zone Collection and is unboxed from the Danger Zone Case, released together with the Danger Zone update in December 2018. As a group the Restricted tier drops around 15.98% of the time from the case (the rate is shared across the tier's skins), keeping supply healthy on the market.

USP-S | Flashback Patterns

Because the green finish sits the same way on every copy, the Flashback carries no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by wear and float.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ USP-S | Flashback, which brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a rarer, costlier pull from the Danger Zone Case, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir version — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament packages, and the Danger Zone Case has never featured as a Major drop.

FAQ

Does the Field-Tested Flashback look beaten up?

Not really. Expect light scuffing on the slide and some paint thinning along the edges, but the bright green base keeps the design reading clearly in-game. It shows more wear than Minimal Wear (MW), yet stays a long way from the heavy battering of the lowest grades.

Is Field-Tested the cheapest Flashback worth buying?

It's the popular budget pick. Field-Tested costs noticeably less than the higher grades while keeping the color loud, and it's the most common on the market. Well-Worn (WW) and Battle-Scarred (BS) go lower still if you want the rock-bottom price and don't mind heavier scuffing.

Which gloves go with the Flashback?
