USP-S | Black Lotus (Field-Tested)
The USP-S | Black Lotus (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a deep blue body and a black lotus flower across the slide. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable way to own it, adding a touch of honest wear for well under the higher grades.
Design
The look centers on a rich blue finish with a black lotus flower painted on the slide, an understated, elegant design that leans on one floral motif instead of heavy graphics. It began as a community submission from moonfighter and Ariata, and it comes with a cheeky in-game line: "Adds 3 kills during pistol round, then is discarded."
USP-S | Black Lotus (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
Sitting in the middle of the 0.00–0.90 float range, Field-Tested picks up light scratching along the slide edges and the grip. The blue base softens a little and small scuffs appear, but the lotus stays the clear focal point regardless of float. This is the grade most players land on — the balance point between looks and price.
USP-S | Black Lotus Rarity
Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, which is the base rarity for case skins and the grade you unbox most frequently. It's an approachable rung of the ladder rather than a rare pull.
USP-S | Black Lotus Case and Collection
This finish is part of The Operation Riptide Collection and comes out of the Operation Riptide Case, released together with Operation Riptide in September 2021. The Mil-Spec tier accounts for roughly 79.92% of the case's drops (a rate spread across the tier's skins), so blue-grade items land far more often than the scarcer finishes.
USP-S | Black Lotus Patterns
No random pattern variation applies to this finish: the blue body and black lotus are placed the same on each copy, meaning there's no paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Copies differ only by their wear and float values.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You can also find a StatTrak™ edition that brings a confirmed-kill counter along; it's a scarcer, more expensive drop from the Operation Riptide Case, and the counter is permanent — it follows the item through every trade or sale. A Souvenir variant doesn't exist, since Souvenir weapons are made only from Major-tournament packages and this finish was never a Major drop.
USP-S | Black Lotus Price
Field-Tested is the value entry point of the range — cheaper than Minimal Wear while keeping the design instantly recognizable, which is why it's the grade most buyers pick up. On an already affordable mid-tier USP-S, it's the easiest way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Does the Field-Tested Black Lotus look worn?
A little. You'll notice light scratching on the slide edges and the grip, but the blue body and the black lotus stay the obvious focal point, so the design reads clearly in-game. It's the grade where the look holds up well while the price drops meaningfully below the higher wears.
Is Field-Tested the best value Black Lotus?
For most buyers, yes. It costs noticeably less than Minimal Wear while keeping the lotus and blue body easy to read, and it's the most common grade on the market. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred go lower still if you want the cheapest entry and don't mind heavier scuffing.
Does the Black Lotus have any pattern variation?
No. The blue body and black lotus flower are placed in the same spot on every copy of the USP-S | Black Lotus, so there's no paint seed, fade percentage, or "blue gem" pattern to hunt on this finish. Wear and float are the only things that separate one copy from another.
