USP-S | Blood Tiger (Field-Tested)

USP-S | Blood Tiger (Field-Tested)

The USP-S | Blood Tiger (Field-Tested) is a Mil-Spec pistol skin with a black body and vibrant red jungle-tiger stripes, here in a more used state. It's the most affordable way into the finish, with wear the dark base partly disguises.

Design

At its core the finish pairs a black base with bold red accents, applied through a jungle tiger hydrographic that runs the striped motif over the slide. Valve built it around contrast rather than intricate art — the red stands out hard against the dark body for an unmistakable, aggressive look.

USP-S | Blood Tiger (Field-Tested) Float and Wear

Field-Tested is the top-worn grade here, and the finish is float-capped at 0.30 (range 0.00–0.30) — so unlike a full-1.0 skin, its most-worn copies never reach the extreme end of the wear scale. Expect visible scratching along the slide edges and some fading in the red, though the black base hides a fair amount of it. It's a step down from Minimal Wear but stays clearly readable.

USP-S | Blood Tiger Rarity

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade — the blue tier, the entry grade among standard case skins and the most common of the drop tiers. That accessibility keeps the Blood Tiger a budget-friendly finish.

USP-S | Blood Tiger Case and Collection

This skin sits in The eSports 2014 Summer Collection and is unboxed from the eSports 2014 Summer Case, released on July 10, 2014. As a group the Mil-Spec tier drops around 79.92% of the time from the case (that odds figure is shared across the tier), and since the case is no longer in the active drop pool, supply stays fixed — the market, not unboxing, is where most copies come from.

USP-S | Blood Tiger Patterns

Because the jungle-tiger stripes are placed the same on each copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to track down. Wear and float are all that separate one from the next.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak™ Blood Tiger, which tacks on a confirmed-kill counter; it comes from the eSports 2014 Summer Case as a scarcer, more expensive drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, following the item through every trade or sale. There's no Souvenir variant — Souvenir weapons only come from Major-tournament souvenir packages, and this case has never been a Major drop.

USP-S | Blood Tiger Price

Field-Tested is the cheapest grade of the finish — the entry-level way to run the design for players who care more about the look than a spotless surface. It's the most budget-friendly rung of an already affordable mid-tier USP-S. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.

FAQ

How worn does the Field-Tested Blood Tiger look?

Moderately. You'll see scratching around the slide edges and some fade in the red stripes, more than Minimal Wear shows. Because the finish is capped at a float of 0.30, though, even this top-worn grade never looks fully trashed, and the black base masks a good share of the damage.

Why is there no Battle-Scarred Blood Tiger?

The finish is float-capped at 0.30, and the game never rolls a copy above that. Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred need higher float values, so they simply can't exist here — Field-Tested is the most worn grade the skin reaches.

Is Field-Tested worth buying over Minimal Wear?

Only if price is the priority. Minimal Wear keeps the red much brighter for a modest step up in cost, so most buyers prefer it. Field-Tested makes sense when you want the Blood Tiger design as cheaply as possible and don't mind some honest wear.
