Design

Blaze Orange wraps the shotgun in a photographic hunting-camo hydrographic, all in bright blaze orange — the safety-orange look real hunters wear, translated onto the weapon. It's a Valve-made finish from one of the game's earliest collections.

This finish runs a float range of 0.06–0.80, so it never quite reaches a perfect zero, but Factory New is still the highest grade available. Does the Blaze Orange have a true Factory New?

Almost. The finish is float-capped at a minimum of 0.06, so copies never reach a perfect 0.00, but Factory New still exists and is the highest grade available. In practice the difference is invisible — a Factory New copy shows the orange camo at full brightness with no wear.
