XM1014 | Fallout Warning (Battle-Scarred)
The XM1014 | Fallout Warning (Battle-Scarred) is an Industrial Grade shotgun finish showing its red radiological hazard patterns in the roughest condition. Battle-Scarred is the most affordable way into this scarce design, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
The finish keeps radiological warning hazard patterns over a red base, an industrial signage look with no camo in sight. Valve made it for The Nuke Collection, one of the earliest sets in the game.
XM1014 | Fallout Warning (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred is the top of the float range, but that range caps at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0 — so this grade never reaches the most extreme battering a 1.0-float skin would show. Expect heavy scuffing and a washed-out red base, yet the hazard markings keep the design readable even here.
XM1014 | Fallout Warning Rarity
Rarity: Industrial Grade — the light-blue and one of the lower standard tiers. The grade is common, but this finish's age and small supply make it genuinely scarce regardless of that classification.
XM1014 | Fallout Warning Case and Collection
Fallout Warning comes from The Nuke Collection, launched with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. It's earned through in-game drops rather than opened from a case, and because the collection is so old, supply stays fixed — the driver behind this common-tier skin's high price.
XM1014 | Fallout Warning Patterns
Because the red hazard markings sit the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak edition of this finish. The StatTrak counter is minted only when a skin debuts in a weapon case, and this one never did. A Souvenir version does exist, though — it first appeared in the ESL One Cologne 2014 Nuke Souvenir Package, with further copies issued at later Major souvenir packages.
XM1014 | Fallout Warning Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of the skin — the least costly route into a finish that runs high across the board thanks to its scarcity. If you want the red hazard design for as little as possible, this is the way in. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Fallout Warning still recognizable?
Yes. Despite heavy scuffing and a washed-out base, the red color and radiological hazard markings keep the design clear at a glance in-game. Battle-Scarred is about accepting visible wear for the lowest price on a scarce finish, not losing the warning-sign look that defines it.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred grade look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear on the scale. The red base shows heavy weathering, but the hazard design stays more legible here than many finishes that run all the way to a 1.0 float.
Is this the cheapest way to own Fallout Warning?
Yes. Battle-Scarred is the lowest grade and therefore the least expensive entry point for this finish. Given how scarce the skin is at every condition, this grade is the most budget-friendly route to putting the red radiological hazard design into your loadout.
