XM1014 | Grassland (Minimal Wear)
The XM1014 | Grassland (Minimal Wear) is a Consumer Grade shotgun finish painting individual parts in solid grassland-scheme colors. Minimal Wear keeps the earthy tones nearly untouched, with only faint wear on close inspection.
Design
Built by Valve, the finish applies a grassland color scheme to the shotgun, spraying individual parts in solid earthy tones for a plain, field-ready appearance. It comes from one of Counter-Strike's launch-era collections.
XM1014 | Grassland (Minimal Wear) Float and Wear
On the 0.06–0.80 float scale, Minimal Wear sits just above Factory New. The solid colors keep their evenness and the earthy scheme reads clearly, with wear limited to a little light edge fading. It looks a hair off the cleanest grade for a marginal difference in outlay.
XM1014 | Grassland Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white tier, the lowest on the standard ladder. It's the most basic grade in the game, which is why this shotgun stays extremely cheap and easy to pick up.
XM1014 | Grassland Case and Collection
The skin belongs to The Militia Collection, one of the launch-era sets from the Arms Deal update in August 2013. It drops in-game rather than from a weapon case, so any copies that surface trade on the open market.
XM1014 | Grassland Patterns
There's no random pattern roll on this finish — the solid grassland colors are laid the same on every copy, so no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. The scheme always lands identically; only wear and float distinguish one shotgun from another.
StatTrak & Souvenir
A StatTrak edition was never produced: that counter is added only when a finish launches inside a weapon case, and this one debuted as a collection skin instead. There's no Souvenir variant either — those are minted exclusively in Major-tournament packages, and this collection never featured at a Major.
XM1014 | Grassland Price
Minimal Wear sits just below Factory New on an already rock-bottom ladder. This is a Consumer-grade finish with minimal market value that rarely comes up for sale, so when it does, the price is negligible regardless of grade. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is Minimal Wear worth it over Factory New on Grassland?
The two grades look almost identical and both cost very little, so the choice barely matters. Minimal Wear reads nearly as clean as Factory New at a glance, and since this is a bottom-tier Consumer finish, price differences between grades are tiny. Buy whichever is available when you want the look.
What collection is Grassland from?
It's part of The Militia Collection, one of the original sets released with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. As an old, drop-only Consumer-grade skin, it's basic and inexpensive, and it appears on the market only occasionally. There's no StatTrak or Souvenir version — only the regular finish exists.
Does the color scheme hold up at Minimal Wear?
Yes. Minimal Wear adds only slight edge fading, so the solid earthy tones stay even and the grassland scheme reads clearly. Since the design is plain solid colors rather than a fine pattern, mild wear barely registers, and the shotgun keeps its intended field look at this grade.
