XM1014 | Grassland (Battle-Scarred)
The XM1014 | Grassland (Battle-Scarred) is a Consumer Grade shotgun finish showing its solid grassland-scheme colors in the roughest condition. Battle-Scarred is the cheapest way into the earthy look, trading surface condition for the lowest entry price.
Design
The finish keeps a grassland color scheme across the body, individual parts spray-painted in solid earthy tones with no printed pattern involved. Valve made it for The Militia Collection, one of the earliest sets in the game.
XM1014 | Grassland (Battle-Scarred) Float and Wear
Battle-Scarred is the top of the float range, but that range caps at 0.80 rather than the full 1.0 — so this grade never reaches the most extreme battering a 1.0-float skin would show. Expect heavy scuffing and washed-out earthy colors, yet the solid scheme keeps the shotgun readable even here.
XM1014 | Grassland Rarity
Rarity: Consumer Grade — the white and lowest of the standard tiers. It's the most basic grade a finish can carry, which keeps this shotgun inexpensive across every condition.
XM1014 | Grassland Case and Collection
Grassland comes from The Militia Collection, launched with the Arms Deal update in August 2013. It's earned through in-game drops rather than opened from a case, and as a launch-era set it predates cases entirely — so copies exist only on the market.
XM1014 | Grassland Patterns
Because the solid grassland colors sit the same way on every copy, the finish has no random pattern variation — nothing like a paint seed or "blue gem" to hunt for. Wear and float are all that separate one copy from the next.
StatTrak & Souvenir
You won't find a StatTrak edition of this finish. The StatTrak counter is minted only when a skin debuts in a weapon case, and this one never did. There's no Souvenir version to look for either — Souvenir weapons exist only through Major-tournament packages, and The Militia Collection has never been part of a Major.
XM1014 | Grassland Price
Battle-Scarred is the cheapest grade of an already floor-priced finish — the absolute entry-level way to run the grassland look for players who care only about the design. If you want an earthy shotgun for the smallest possible outlay, this is it. It's available to buy on Skin.Land with instant delivery and no hidden fees.
FAQ
Is the Battle-Scarred Grassland still recognizable?
Yes. Despite heavy scuffing and washed-out tones, the solid earthy colors keep the grassland scheme clear at a glance in-game. Because the design is plain color rather than a fine pattern, wear blends in, so this grade is about the lowest price rather than any real loss of the look.
Why doesn't the Battle-Scarred grade look completely trashed?
Because the finish is float-capped at 0.80 instead of the full 1.0, its Battle-Scarred copies never hit the most extreme wear on the scale. The earthy colors show heavy weathering, but the solid grassland scheme stays more legible here than a fine-patterned skin would at the same float.
Is this the cheapest way to own Grassland?
Yes. Battle-Scarred is the lowest grade and therefore the least expensive entry point for this finish. Since Grassland is a bottom-tier Consumer skin to begin with, this condition puts the earthy grassland design in your loadout for the smallest outlay possible — a pure budget pick.
