The XM1014 | Quicksilver (Field-Tested, FT) is a Mil-Spec shotgun finish with a terrain-map hydrographic over metallic silver, now carrying light honest wear. Field-Tested is the most common and affordable way to run the sleek gray design in-game.
Design
Quicksilver overlays a translucent terrain-map print onto a metallic silver base, a cool gray, topographic look that leans on reflectivity rather than bold color. The designer Algis built the finish, and it comes with the in-game line "Sometimes you need an unstable element to solve your problems - Kotaro Izaki, Breach Expert."
XM1014 | Quicksilver (Field-Tested) Float and Wear
On the finish's 0.00–0.50 scale, Field-Tested spans roughly 0.15–0.38. Here the metallic sheen dulls somewhat and scuffing appears along the edges and contact points, softening the reflective surface, though the terrain-map motif stays clearly readable. Field-Tested Quicksilver is drawn from The Chroma Collection, unboxed from the Chroma Case that released in January 2015. The blue Mil-Spec tier drops at around 79.92% from the case (odds shared across the tier's skins), so it's a routine pull rather than a rare find.
